"What do you mean?" Robin asked. "Terra told him about me and he showed up at my house. He made my room really cold. I couldn't breath. I used my power to get out. I don't know what he wants but he made it clear I didn't know everything about my powers yet." Adena finished falling to the floor. "Slow down. Come sit." Raven said her emotionless tone back to usual. "I see what's going on. He wants to do what he did to Terra." Raven said. "No." Adena gasped. "It's alright were not gonna let it happen." Robin said and grasped his hands together. "What are we gonna do?" Starfire asked. "We will train her." Robin answered. "Let's start now." He said and they all walked to the training center outside. "So is now a bad time to tell that I made us dinner plans." Cyborg asked smiling. "What kind of plans?" Robin asked raising an eyebrow. "I invited Bee and her team to come eat with us." He said looking down. "Bad timing." Robin said firmly. "I know but I haven't seen Bee in a long while, and I thought it would be a good idea. Come on Rob." Cyborg pleaded. "Fine but set an extra place for Adena." He said and got to work setting up the program. "Thanks dude." Cyborg said. "Okay. We will first let you take on a monster by your self before we work as a team." Robin said starting the program. "Good luck!" Starfire said excitedly and Robin smirked at her. A weird creature formed and swung at her. Adena flew above the swing and hit him with fire. The monster flew backward but caught itself. It hit her and she skidded across the ground. She used the ground and flew back up to the air. She surrounded it with fire until it was near death. She realized this and fell the the ground. "That was very good. You just need to control it." Robin said setting up the next program. They all fought together on the next one and it was down quickly. "Sweet." Beast Boy said proudly. "Dudes that was so cool!" Beast Boy laughed. "Good job new friend!" Starfire exclaimed hugging Adena. "Thanks." Adena smiled. "From now on you will train everyday with our good friend Hot Spot." Robin said. "Why not with us?" Cyborg asked. "Because, he knows a lot about her power and can have her trained fast. I already talked to him." Robin said walking inside. "Alright let's get ready for dinner." Raven said and the girls followed her. "What just happened? Raven getting ready with other girls?" Cyborg laughed. "I have no clue." Beast Boy laughed. "You know dude you're getting pretty big. Like you're a lot taller and in shape." Cyborg pointed out. "I did it for her." Beast Boy said and walked inside. "My family." Cyborg laughed and followed him. "I'm gonna cook. BB set up the big table." Cyborg yelled to Beast Boy. "Alright dude I'm on it!" Beast Boy said running to set up. "Where is Robin?" Beast Boy asked. "Probably in his room trying to figure out what Slade is planning now." Cyborg answered. "Well he's not gonna miss dinner is he?" Beast Boy asked. "And miss Starfire in a dress? He will be here." Cyborg laughed. "Dress? The girls are dressing up?" Beast Boy asked. "This is a formal dinner B. We all are dressing up." Cyborg answered.
"It's a formal dinner?" Adena asked. "Yes isn't it amazing!" Starfire said excited. "I don't really have..." Adena started. "I know, you can have a red dress I was given. It was a gift from the munks at my home. Not really my style." Raven said pulling out a beautiful red dress. "Wow Raven it's so beautiful I couldn't." Adena said in awe. "You can. I wouldn't ever wear it." Raven said pulling a beautiful black dress for herself. "Thank you." Adena smiled. "No problem." Raven said emotionless. "I will go fetch my dress!" Starfire said running out and quickly back in with a stunning purple dress. "That's really pretty Starfire." Adena said and picked up her own dress. The girls put on their dresses and looked at each other. "Y'all look beautiful." Adena looking down feeling not apart of the team yet. "So do you friend!" Starfire said and grabbed her arm. Starfire pulled her to the chair in front of Raven's big mirror. "Raven do you have a curling iron or straightener?" Starfire asked brushing Adena's hair. "You know I don't Starfire." Raven smiled. "I'll get mine!" Starfire quickly flew to her room and back. "I will straighten your hair Raven, curl Adena's, and straighten my own making my bangs go to one side! Oh it will be so pretty! Yes?" Starfire exclaimed. "Oh great." Raven said sarcastically. "I wouldn't back talk if I were you she might hug you to death." Adena laughed and Raven laughed back. "I will start with Raven!" Starfire said sitting her beside Adena. "Good luck." Adena laughed and Raven laughed too. "I need some." Raven laughed. Starfire got to work and was done in thirty minutes. Raven's hair seemed longer and it was placed perfectly. "Wow." Adena said in awe. Raven started at herself amazed. "Thanks." She said moving to her bed. "Oh friend Raven it is glorious!" Starfire yelled happily. Starfire started in on Adena's hair. She took a hour and a half but it was amazing. "Beautiful." Raven smiled. "Yes indeed!" Starfire clapped. "Thanks Starfire." As Starfire started on herself Adena looked around seeing that she felt at home and welcome. Raven read her mind and smiled. "Welcome to the team. It's good to have you apart of are little family." Raven said smiling. "Family?" Adena said to herself. "Yes. You're home with us friend." Starfire said trying to focus on her hair. Adena smiled with a tear in her eye. "Don't cry dear friend!" Starfire pleaded. "Sorry." Adena laughed. "Don't be sorry. I know exactly how you feel. After thirty minutes Starfire was finished her hair was really long with her bangs beautifully placed on one side off of her forehead. "That's stunning Starfire." Adena said smiling. "It really is." Raven smirked. "I know how to do makeup and I have some in my bag if y'all would like." Adena offered. "Sure." Raven said and Starfire smiled in agreement. Adena did everyone's the same. She put the right color of foundation on each girl and herself then did eyeliner, low liner, and mascara on everyone. "We all look so pretty friends!" Starfire jumped up and down.
"BB get the door." Cyborg yelled as the doorbell rang. "Okay okay calm it." Beast Boy said and opened the door. Bumble Bee, Aqualad, Speedy, and Más Y Menos walked in. Más Y Menos (the twins) talked to themselves and ran out the door. "Why did...?" Beast Boy started. "They had something to take care of." Aqualad laughed. "Hey Beast Boy." Speedy said laid back as usual. "Hey." Bumble Bee said walking past them. "Bee!" Cyborg yelled running to her, picking her up, spinning her around, and bringing her into hug him. "Gross." Speedy laughed sitting in the couch. "Shut it." Bumble Bee snarled. "Hey dude." Beast Boy said sitting with him. "Sup little dude." Speedy laughed. "Hey." Robin said coming out of his room with a tux. Seeing every other guy had one on he fit in. "Lookin sharp there boy wonder." Speedy laughed. Robin recalled Red X calling him that and frowned. "What did I do?" Speedy asked Beast Boy. "It's personal just don't call him things like that for a while." Beast Boy said and then smiled like his normal self. "Bumble Bee you look amazing." Cyborg said looking at Bumble Bee's yellow long dress and straightened hair. "You look pretty sharp as well." Bumble Bee laughed. "Girls will be down here any second." Cyborg told her and she say down. The girls walked in the room. Raven appearing first Beast Boy turned into a dog and started to droll. Raven laughed as he turned to normal. "You look absolutely beautiful Rae." Beast Boy said kissing her cheek. "Am I missing something?" Speedy asked. "Oh yea. They are dating and Starfire and I are together again." Robin said laughing. Starfire walked in and Robin walked to her. "You look gorgeous Star." Robin said in awe. "Thank you boyfriend Robin." Starfire said smiling. Adena then walked in and Speedy was taken by her beauty. "Who's that?" Speedy asked Beast Boy eyeing her. "She's a new team member. That's Adena." Raven answered. "Adena." Speedy repeated stunned. "Hi I'm Speedy." Speedy said approaching her. "Hey Speedy. I'm.." She started but he cut her off. "Adena. Your name, if I'm not mistaken means fire?" He asked. "Yes. It is my power." She said smiling. "That's amazing." Speedy said. He is usually laid back and cool, but now is shy. "Thank you." She said smirking. "You are very beautiful." He said trying to sound cool again. "Not so bad yourself." Adena said laughing. "Friend!" Starfire yelled and pulled Adena to the corner of the room. "I think Titans East Speedy is taken with you!" Starfire whispered happily. "I can tell." Adena laughed. "You are taken with him as well? Yes?" Starfire asked. "He is very handsome Starfire." Adena said looking his way. "Oh glorious!" She said excitedly. "Don't say anything. Promise?" Adena asked. "I will keep it a secret." Starfire giggled. "Star, come here." Robin said laughing. "Adena you too." He said motioning. "This is Adena. She is a new part if the team." Robin announced to everyone. "Pleasure." Aqualad said shaking her hand. "It is a pleasure." Speedy said doing to same and smiling. Bumble Bee did the same and they all sat down leaving Cyborg to finish up. "So Adena tell us about yourself." Aqualad said curious. "Oh there is not much to tell." She laughed. "Like family, love life, hobbies, maybe darkest secrets." Aqualad joked. "I don't have much of a family, no love life, and secrets are plenty." She laughed back. "You do have a family friend! With us!" Starfire said smiling. Robin kissed Starfire's head and continued his conversation with Speedy about winning. "So, she really don't have a boyfriend?" Speedy asked Robin. "No. Why?" Robin smirked. "Just wondering." Speedy smirked and laid back against his chair. "You're interested in her." Robin chuckled. "So what if I was?" Speedy asked in a laugh. "What are you guys talking about?" Beast Boy asked. "Nothing much." Robin laughed. "Okay." Beast Boy said quizzically smiling and walking to Raven. "Hey Rae." Beast Boy said giving her a peck. "Hey Beast Boy." She smiled. "You're so happier than you used to be. Your whole outlook is changing. Slowly but surely." Beast Boy pointed out. "Do I look silly?" Raven asked looking at her dress. "You look stunning." Beast Boy assured her. Adena was standing alone near the stairs. "Hey." Speedy said approaching her. "Hi." Adena smiled. "Why are you alone?" He asked standing beside her. "I guess I'm just getting used to things." Adena answered. "Let me know if I can help." Speedy smiled."Thanks." Adena blushed. "Would you wanna maybe go out tomorrow night?" Speedy asked. "Yes, I would love that." Adena answered with a smile. "I'll pick you up at seven?" Speedy asked. "Sure." Adena said happily. "Dinner!" Cyborg called from the kitchen. "Starfire." Adena called to Starfire and told her the news. "Oh that is wondrous dear friend!" Starfire gleamed. "We must share the news!" Starfire whispered with excitement. "Later." Adena answered and took a seat. "Alright man I got a nice dinner here composed of Chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and bacon wrapped hot dog meat. Boo Ya!" Cyborg ranted on. "Yuck." Beast Boy said making a vomiting gesture. "I picked you up some tofu in the fridge." Raven said and started to eat. "Thanks Rae." Beast Boy said running to the kitchen. "I would like to say this is wonderful friend Cyborg." Starfire said caking mustard on everything. "Well done." Robin agreed while smiling at Starfire's mustard habit. "Thanks Cyborg this is really good." Adena said wiping her face with a napkin. "Real cute." Speedy said laughing at Adena. "Thanks I get that a lot." Adena joked back. "Oh friends I wish the best on your date!" Starfire blurted out. "Starfire." Adena said rolling her eyes. "I am sorry friend." Starfire said sadly. "It's alright. I don't mind." Speedy said smiling. "I asked Adena on a date." Everyone smiled. "I knew it." Robin said chuckling.
After dinner everyone got ready to leave. "Have a good night Bee." Cyborg said opening the door for her and kissing her cheek. "Goodnight." Bumble Bee blushed and got in the car. "Sweet dreams Adena." Speedy said and winked at her before getting in. "Bye dear friends!" Starfire waved and jumped up and down.
