"That was not apart of the deal!" Speedy yelled at Slade. "You promised Raven would be safe!" Beast Boy added. "I've promised a lot of things I never intended to keep." Slade said calmly. "Then I'm not keeping mine." Beast Boy said turning to walk out. "I'm with you." Speedy glared at Slade. "Dear children, you can't leave." Slade smiled. "Watch us." Speedy challenged. "Watch this." Red X laughed while big steel doors fell on the exits. Speedy shot every kind of arrow at it and Beast Boy changed into every animal in attempts to leave. "It's useless." Terra smirked. "Let me go!" Beast Boy shouted at her with tears in his eyes. "I just got you." Terra whispered. "Leave Raven alone." Beast Boy said stifling a cry and dropping to his knees. "Nobody said anything about Raven having anything to do with it." Beast Boy said shaking. "Nobody said that you were taking me to use Adena." Speedy whispered. "Don't be idiots. You are truly fools if you never considered this was a trap." Terra laughed. Speedy slammed his hands against the wall in frustration.
"Robin get out of there!" Adena shouted pounding on the door. "We need to figure with out." Cyborg added. "There is no use friends." Starfire said placing her hand on Cyborg's arm. "We've got to figure this out as a team!" Adena kept shouting. Raven watched in the same place as earlier speechless. "Beast Boy." She whispered to herself.
"Raven." Beast Boy whispered to himself. Slade put him and Speedy in a separate room with no way out. "The girls wouldn't turn themselves in. Would they?" Speedy asked sitting on the other side of the room with his head in his lap. "I hope not." Beast Boy said making eye contact. "Adena is smart but crazy. I hope she will have a clear head." Speedy said thinking about her. "I wish I could say I knew." Speedy finished.
"I wish I could say I knew." Adena huffed. "Knew what, friend Adena?" Starfire asked. "What's going on? Is Speedy okay?" Adena asked the questions that bothered her. "Speedy and Beast Boy will be okay." Cyborg said hopeful. "B is my best friend. I hope that grass stain will be alright." Cyborg said trying to sound calm. Raven looked up at him with the most painful look he had ever seen before. "Raven." Cyborg said taken back. She looked paler than usual and like she hadn't slept in 100 years. "Are you okay?" He asked. "Yea." She said quietly.
Raven went to her room and tried over and over to reach his thoughts. She couldn't. "Beast Boy please." She cried. "Come back." She pleaded. She still knew that it was useless to beg and cry. "Raven?" Cyborg asked from outside her door. "Come get me if you need me. Get some rest if you can." Cyborg said and then left. Soon Raven was forced into sleep by exhaustion.
Beast Boy was forced into sleep by exhaustion.
{Beast Boy's dream} Beast Boy was standing alone in the city. It was empty. "Hello?" He shouted standing in fog. "Anyone?" He called out again. "Raven?" He screamed in desperation. "Beast Boy?" A voice rang out from the other end of the street. "Rae!" He shouted recognizing her voice. Suddenly she walked out from behind a building. Beast Boy headed toward her but she started running. "Raven what's wrong?" Beast Boy called out as he chased her shadow. When he turned the next corner Raven was standing there. Her back was toward him. "Raven?" He asked stopping behind her. She said nothing. "What's wrong?" He asked. He walked around her to face her. She started to run before he could see her. "Raven? What are you doing?" Beast Boy shouted while he chased after her. "I wanna be with you!" Beast Boy screamed. "What are you afraid of?" Beast Boy asked. "Him!" Raven shouted as she stopped and turned toward him. He stopped in his tracks. "Who?" He asked. "Behind you." Raven trembled. Beast Boy turned to see Trigon had been right behind him the whole time.
"You alright?" Speedy asked as Beast Boy jumped out of sleep.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
