Unknown Ally

Narrators POV:

Deep in the woods of a forgotten forest where all is quiet and still, beautiful it is, yet no one knows, for the thick brush and trees can keep you trapped there for days, so no one dares to venture inside, even so.... A being of great power resides... alone...or so it believes.

For there is another creature one of mystery, not as powerful as the one before but powerful nonetheless. It hides, protected by unknown power, helping both the land and animals of the forest prosper.

The powerful beings know nothing of eachothers existence. They continue to live their days seperately, one helping the forest and it's life because it believes that that is it's purpose. And the other, trying to figure out it's own purpose all while exploring the forest and it's wonders.

Upon wondering the forest the first being had come across an old wooden mansion in the middle of a clearing, falling apart and rotting on every wall, broken windows and tiles from the roof all around the grass. The being wanted to continue it's looking around the forest but felt oddly compelled to go inside, a part of it felt as tho it's purpose was inside that house, waiting for it.

It made it's way over as it's feet touched the broken wooden porch it ended up inside the mansion in a room, which looked to be an office of some sort. Tall book shelves filled with books, paper, jars and containers, a tall desk with a chair and files piled high on top and a tall mirror reaching from ceiling to floor with strange markings along the edges of the frame. Once the creature got a grasp of it's surroundings it realised the room seemed to be built specifically for it.

It walked over to the desk and the first file it saw was labeled:

SLENDERMAN

It opened the file and saw a picture of a tall cloud white creature with no face, wearing a pitch black suit with a bright red tie and it had long, black lines coming out of it's back. The creature walked back over to the mirror and examined itself, it looked exactly like the creature in the picture. It picked up the file and read it's contents.

Slenderman was a little surprised by how powerful he was, he kept reading to find hints on who or what his creator could be but there was nothing. Once he had finished he decided he would stay in the mansion and use his newly discovered powers to fix it, not to much however, he made sure it looked uninhabitable from the outside but he made the inside none life threatening to creatures and animals that may wonder inside.

Once he was done he kept practicing to use his new abilities and had gained full control over them not long after. While exploring the mansion his vision was pulled from whatever was in front of him to the edge of the forest where a small dog had just entered. Slenderman came to the conclusion that this was his auto sensing ability, it allowed him to know exactly where & what entered the forest immediately as it did.

Slenderman then continued exploring the mansion and his new home more.

Years later, a decade to be exact on a dreary dark night Slenderman sensed something enter the woods. A human.

Humans had entered these woods before, both dead and alive, some humans brought other dead humans to hide while others brought and killed them within the woods. Slenderman would also kill people who entered the forest and ventured to close to the mansion or other forest monuments that should not be interfered with by the filthy hands of a human. Campers and tourists also entered, some people say they've seen the Slenderman in the woods and others blame him for people disappearing and being found dead in the woods.

Back to the topic at hand,

The person Slenderman saw was wearing a white hoodie and had messy black hair, they were covered in blood and they looked like a female. The Slenderman used his sensing to watch the human as they moved deeper and deeper into the woods, once they were too deep inside for anyone to find them without getting lost they stopped to rest. Slenderman waited a little bit and watched from afar, the human seemed to be on the verge of passing out, just as he was about to teleport in front of the human something else got to them first.

It appeared in the form of a glowing white-ish, blue deer, it slowly strutted over to the human and sat down in front of them. It bobbed it's head and the human followed, the human seemed to be in a daze still on the verge of passing out. The deer then stood up and the human raised their head to look at it but their eyes we're almost closed, the deer leaned it's head over and touched it's nose with the humans nose just as the humans eyes closed.

The human and the deer both started glowing white and all visible wounds on the human was healed. The human then slowly fell to its side, in a peaceful sleep. Slenderman was bewildered by the scene in front of him, until know he thought he was the only creature in the forest capable of such magical abilities.

The deer seemed to notice the Slenderman's presence and turned around to face him. It stood in front of the human almost protectively but it didn't show signs of being hostile, it was waiting to see what the Slenderman would do first. Both creatures stared at each other for a few minutes before both their attention was taken by the human, who seemed to be awakening.

The deer then looked back at Slenderman one lat time before sprinting off away from both him and the human. Just as the deer was out of sight the human sat up and opened their eyes and stared directly at Slenderman. They didn't move nor try too, they couldn't. Slenderman floated over to the human and 'looked' down at them. "What is your name human?" He asks, "It's....its Kate." The human now known as Kate says. "Well Kate, do you want to work for me?" "Work....for you? What even are you?" Kate asks

"I human, am The Slenderman. And you're in my woods. I can kill you right here and now if I desire and no one is to know of my existence, so I suggest you choose wisely." Slenderman tell Kate in a menacing tone. Reluctantly Kate agrees, she just barely got away with the murder of her best friend and has nowhere to go, so why not?

"So Slenderman, what kinda job do I have?" 'She doesn't seem to remember her interaction with the strange creature from before....' Slenderman thinks in his mind, "First can you stand?" "Yeah. I can" "Ok. Get up and follow me I'll explain on the way."
"Alright" Kate replied and stood up and left with Slenderman.
"So your job....you will work as my follower, you'll carry out orders I give you without hesitation" Slenderman tells Kate.

"ok... What's that gonna be?" Kate asks. "You'll be my Proxy and you'll now be known as Kate The Chaser. From now on you'll be a killer." "Thought I already was" Kate said gesturing to the blood splatters on her jacket. "Well now you'll be doing it full time" Slenderman said. "Fine by me. Not like I have anything planned anymore, anyway, am I you're first recruit?" "Yes, in fact you are"
"Alright" Kate replies.

- WARNING! LAZG WRITING -

Once they got back to the mansion Slenderman gives Kate a symbol that will bind her to him as his follower or proxy for the rest of her life. He gives her enhanced physical abilities and gives her combat training that will help her be a great proxy.

And with that Slenderman's knowledge of the other magical being residing in his forest and his gaining of his first and newest follower has set them all onto a wonderful future.
