Chapter 8

In this chapter, is my attempt(emphasis on 'attempt') to write angst.

Pink, White, Blue, Purple, Orange and Green all received the Dead body report notification on their tablets, and they all quickly headed over to Cafeteria.

Pink started the discussion off strong by asking where the body was found, and if there was anyone nearby, Yellow responded to Pink's first question with an expected response, "I found Cyan's body beside the reactor." But Pink didn't expect what Yellow said next, "I was doing my task, and then I turned around to find Cyan's dead body, I'm guessing one of the imposters did it while I was doing my task, as for if anyone was nearby, I saw White walking out of Reactor.

Pink, Blue, and White froze. White froze because she didn't think Yellow had seen her, and Blue froze for the same reason. Pink froze because she couldn't really process what Yellow said, 'White's an imposter?' Pink thought to herself. That seemed absurd, White was a really good imposter, and would've killed Pink by now if she was an imposter.

"White's not an imposter." Pink blurted out on instinct. She couldn't just stand there watching Yellow accuse White for something she didn't do. "White has had plenty of chances to kill me, and she hasn't therefore she can't be an imposter" Pink said, hoping the others believed her.

'I think it's self-report!" Pink said boldly

"That could be true, but Cyan and Yellow are good friends, so I doubt Yellow would do something like that." Green said, not wanting to vote anyone off without serious evidence.

Pink thought for a moment about what Green said, about how Cyan and yellow are good friends, (they both obviously have crushes on each other) maybe White is the imposter.

'No, no NO! Come on Pink snap out of it! White's not the imposter!' Pink told herself. It helped a bit, but the evidence on White being an imposter was pretty heavy, considering the body was found after White had left Pink.

"White, what do you have to say to defend yourself?" Green questioned, wanting the perspective from all sides of the story.

"Well, I was with Pink, then I had a t-task to fix wires in security, so I walked by R-reactor, I didn't even notice that C-cyan and Y-yellow we're inside." White said, trying her best to lie, though she'd never be as good as Blue is at lying.

Blue cringed internally at White's bad lying skills and it angered her that she couldn't say anything because that would give away their positions. Blue sighed and focused on what everybody was saying. 'This discussion' Blue thought to herself, 'is getting quite interesting.' Blue couldn't stop the mischievous smile that was growing on her face.

Purple was sitting next to blue at the cafeteria table, out of instinct, Purple decided to grab Blue's hand, slightly needing someone to comfort her considering the discussion is getting so heated. Blue squeezed her hand back.

White noticed Blue and Purple were holding hands, and White got the sudden urge to do the same to Pink, but the way Pink is standing up for her saying she's not the imposter, even though she is, White's never felt more guilty in her entire life.

It seemed everyone had zoned out with their own thoughts on their mind because when Green said, "Well, I'm sorry White, but all evidence points to you."

Everybody was surprised, but reluctantly, Cyan, Green and Orange all voted White. White voted skip, Pink voted Cyan, and Blue also voted skip, meaning White had the most votes. "Alright, who volunteers to eject White?" Green questioned the crew.

Pink reluctantly raised her hand. Pink had an idea, she would confess to White on the ejection chamber where nobody else could hear them, but even then, white would be floating in space, and she would be a ghost, and Pink would be all alone, but even if Pink didn't eject White, the fact that White will be ejected wouldn't change.
