The Law of Polarity means that duality exists in nature; everything has an opposite, but even things that appear as opposites are in fact only two parts of the whole.
You cannot have one without the other, and when these opposites meet, an energy is created from the union. This power holds the essence of each, and the results can be unique and electrifying.
What is the dark night without the brilliant day?

When Aiden, a pyroweaver with a fire affinity, meets Kal, a hydroweaver with an ice affinity, what kind of energy will be created when these opposites attract?

Hey y'all! Thanks for joining me for a new book. I'm super excited to tell Aiden, Kal and their friends' story.
I just wanted to give some quick background info about the story and their world, feel free to skip this little section if you rather just dive right in, its not necessary to know, just some explanatory stuff!
Essentially, their world is a lot like ours, but their people have powers, called "weaving". This isn't a book about superheroes or villains, or overly extraordinary people at all—quite the opposite in fact. They are ordinary, average people who go to school, have normal jobs, go out to eat, etc., except they integrate their weaving into their daily lives. It can be awesome, but there can also be some side effects which they have to learn to live with.
This world is also what I would consider ahead of ours, in the sense that sexuality, gender, preferences and labels just usually aren't a big deal or assumed. They tend to be more fluid, so express labels don't always fit or aren't needed. Some people are more open about it, others aren't. Every person is different, every situation is different, and their society is generally pretty accepting of whatever.
The last thing of note is this story is not marked mature, but please note that there is some casual swearing, sexual themes, and a lot of physical contact (which does get explicit, but those chapters will be marked as such). It's what I would consider new adult, 16+ for most of it. So if your into fluff, build up, sexual tension, and a lot of "just do it!" type moments, you're in the right place!
None of that is tooo super important to know for the story, I just thought it would help make things easier to understand if I explained it upfront and gave you an idea of what's to come.
