Hi! Sorry, not a new chapter yet.... (Psych!)
I've gotten some new readers recently, plus I thought I owed my ongoing readers a little hiatus update.
This book is still paused on updates for now. Sorry. Sorry. I know, it's been awhile. Life's just been a little hectic (siblings on summer break, husband got a promotion, vacations, new work schedules, yada yada).
We're getting to a good point in the story (!) and it would totally ruin it if I couldn't post consistently, so until I get my shit together I'm just going to hold off a bit and queue up some chapters so they're ready to go.
Also, honestly I've kinda lost my passion with this story at the moment... not forever, don't worry! I just go through phases of working on one thing and then working on something else. Usually, because of that, I stick to shorter stories so I don't get so sidetracked... but The Law of Polarity is a full length novel, so yes, I'm taking a halfway break. I'm not the type that can write more than one story at a time; I have to be in the headspace for those characters/plot/scenes. So I will be back! But in the meantime:
I'm working on a new story!!
It's called Let's Tango. It's a straight, friends to lovers romance (with some queer rep, of course). Here's the blurb:
***
𝐀𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐫𝐚 𝐄𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐬 is exactly where she wants to be in life.
Confident and independent, her days are filled with her award-winning dance troupe, while her nights are blissfully free to do with as she wishes. Talk about #goals.
So why has she been feeling so unsettled?
𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐧 𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐥𝐲 is exactly where he wants to be in life.
As the sentimentalist Mom Friend™, he's content to focus on his personal relationships now that his professional life is reaching new heights.
So why is he still hoping for more?
𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬, these two have always supported each other through thick and thin. But when they realize that what they crave isn't so different, how far can that support stretch before one of them pays the price?
Rory's head or Q's heart?

I've been dying to write a friends to lovers book for forever, basically. It's probably my favorite trope and I've put off writing one because there's just so many ways of going about it, I had hard time settling on just the right plot. But then a few ideas popped into my head that I couldn't pass up, and they just kept coming, so viola!
It'll be more in the novella range, maybe 15ish chapters and I'm already about halfway through writing it so I should start posting it soon. Once I get to a comfortable place with it, I'll be back to finish The Law of Polarity, so stay tuned! Much love ♥
