NOT GUILTY!!

Chapter 2

Autumn's PoV 

I woke up at 7:30 around and got ready for my usual routine which included of getting dressed and going to beckenheim street exactly at 8:17am after a 3 minute walk I would reach the police station on the street but in the past year of my routine I haven't once gone there I just stand on its opposite side for 10 minutes and then carry on with my walk which is towards the old mansion of hailing cove, you must wonder why I would go there, the answers to the questions haunting me till today were there. 

I would be at the mansion exactly for an hour and then I would be back standing against the police station at 9:47 and would stand there for ten minutes and then head back to Mathew's house or should I say mansion. I've moved in with him for almost a year but I still can't come to the terms to call it my house.

My rest of the day goes on by without any thing interesting happening just the usual of having dinner with Mathew and then going to my bedroom to my book and not to my boyfriend who at the time will be in his study. At the first month I moved in it wasn't like this but things changed after that and here I am.

After a while I started doubting him ,first I had thought maybe he was cheating on me, I mean you can't blame me all the signals pointed to it, coming home late,going to office early,sometimes not coming home at all, anyone in my place would think that.

After that, one day I thought it was enough and I wanted to confront him but I had no solid proof and I didn't want to be like those girlfriends who would only get bitchy answers from their boyfriends while confronting them because they had no proof to prove it.

So I decided to catch him red handed, so I started following him where he would go but it turned out he wasn't cheating he came to an abandoned mansion,at first I just thought it wasn't a big deal and just left the topic, but after a few days the curiosity got the better of me and I made the routine and had been following it since the past year.

Everyday I would go there in the hope I'll find something after a while I thought maybe his change in behaviour would be explained by the old mansion but I haven't found something yet.but yesterday I found something.

The mansion had two entries,one main entrance and the other was the back one,there are two rooms on the ground floor and a big staircase towards the second floor which has three rooms and then the attic.

I had searched the whole mansion for the past year but haven't found anything at all.But yesterday when I was in the attic searching I had found a strand of black hair, I know it's not a big deal but that's the first interesting thing I've found in the mansion for the past year and c'mon the strand didn't come walking itself.

Yeah some teenagers could've come here ,but the mansion is kinda creepy and something like this hasn't happened before.

I'm going back tomorrow again to search some more, don't think I'm a freak even though I may sound like one all I'm doing this for is to solve the mystery named Mathew.

Well I'll be off too my romantic fantasies in my book as they can't be fulfilled by my so called boyfriend as he is too busy with his work.

Hopefully I'll get a bit closer to the truth tomorrow..
