The egg; I don't like it. Not at all. It's been possessing people, and it's making the city not safe anymore. I don't know if it's safe to break because it's not safe to touch.

"Sam! You have to let me out! This is illegal! If it weren't for the egg I bet Bad would be here right now yelling at you. You are letting your own little squad fall apart. Does that make you happy?" I wasn't going to listen to his pestering. He blew up a nation twice.

"Sam, honestly, this is getting pretty boring. I know we wanted him in here, but now what? Are we just going to let them die in there?" I wanted to respond, and I tried. But I couldn't move my own body.

"We are letting them die in there. They deserve it." It was me talking, but it wasn't me. Oh no. Not the egg.

"You know what, no. I'm not letting you do this." He ran to the other side of the room and tripped me to the floor. I saw him pulling back Dream's chains and releasing Techno's.

"Don't tell me you're letting Techno out and not me! It's not going to do you any good." I tried everything to stop myself from moving, but it was useless.

"It's not Sam Techno; it's me. I grabbed my bow and aimed it right at Quackity's head. It wasn't me, but it would still be my fault. "Sam, what are you doing!" He slammed the button that would give Techno his exit and jumped out of range from the arrow. "I'm sorry, Techno! It wasn't me; it was the egg. Everything should be unlocked, just run!" And he sent the transport to the other side. Quackity rushed to the controls, flipped a switch, and vanished.I ran through the halls as fast as I could. I needed to dash my items. When I got to my locker, I was shocked to find vines covering nearly every inch. I grabbed what I could and ran. I found Techno in the portal room that led outside.

"Ugh, it keeps taking me back inside!"

"Heres the deal, Techno. I might break the portals here, but we have to get out. I'm sorry about Dream." I ran through the portal and rushed to the controls. I flipped the switch and my exit de-lit. I grabbed a flint and steel, re-lit the portal, and I found Techno at the other end.

"Quackity, I think we have a problem. Look at the mansion." I looked over at it, and I saw it had been completely covered in blood vines.

"How long have we been in the prison?" I hesitantly walked outside, and I could see a faint red fog covering the surroundings.

"Too long."

"I think we sprint to Church Prime and hide there." Techno nodded. I knew he had no reason to trust me; I had been with the egg for a long time, but he still followed me to the church. As we ran we saw more buildings covered in vines. Inside the church, there were masks hung along the walls, and some of the seats had been removed. Near the back stood Tommy and Wilbur, their eyes locking to mine. "Where is everybody else? No way they are crazy enough to stay out in the open with the egg covering so much of the area!" The words leaked from my mouth, but I would have said them even if I was thinking about them first. "I think we might be the only ones not with the egg at this point."
