Don't Be Afraid (Eddsworld x child reader)

Chapter 11

-Third POV, to not confuse-

It was morning, Edd and (Y/N) were already up, and soon everyone else got up.

They were about to have breakfast, "Um...Edd....where all the food?" Tom asks, look in the fridge.

"Gone," Tord said, looking at Tom like he was stupid.

"We can go get food," Edd said, trying to lighten the mood, heading out with (Y/N) holding his hand and Matt behind him.

It made Tom and Tord look at each other with hatred and confusion, following Edd while shoving each other.

While almost at the store, they pause by a bright light.

When the light was gone, the group looked to see.

"Edd?" Matt ask,

"Yes," both Edd's said at the same time,

"Gah! I do not have time for this, Edd- I mean past me I came here to warn you," Future Edd said, grabbing Edd attention,

"About what?" Edd asks his future self.

Future Edd grabs Edd by his arm "I want to talk about...." Future Edd starts talking before taking a look at the group until he sees Tord making him stop.

"You..." Future Edd spat towards Tord, letting go of Edd's arm.

Tord looks at Future Edd in confusion.

"What have you done with (Y/N)?!" Future Edd yelled at Tord,

Tord looked at him like he was crazy. "What are you talking about?"

"Hey me, calm down. What are you talking about?" Edd steps in, looking at himself in a calm and serious tone.

It did not help. Future Edd pushed Edd out of the way.

"You know what I am talking about, Red Leader," Future Edd said to Tord, jabbing his finger at Tord's chest. Tord look at Future Edd in fear then soon calm,

"What are you talking about again?" Tord asked again in a calm manner. It made Future Edd just growled at him,

"Tom, who is the old man that looks like Edd?" (Y/N) said softly to Tom,

"Crazy future self that tried to kill him," Tom said back,

"Alright, if you and Red leader won't speak then" Future Edd then pull out a "normal" gun until it turns into a future gun,

"Run!" Edd yelled causing them all to run.

-Time skip-

They finally were away from Future Edd hiding in the house (Great idea),

"Think we lost him?" Matt asks.

"I don't know, what was he talking about?" Edd responded.

"Don't know, do not care, leave the commie out and let Future Edd have him," Tom said, looking at Tord mad.

"No, Tom, Tord is our friend, and friends never leave each other behind" Edd replied, which Tord was grateful for having Edd as a friend.

"So then, what do we do?" Matt jumped in questing.

"Build a fort!" (Y/N) cheered.

"We could do that, but we do not have the materials to build anything," Tom said,

"Then let's do the same plan as last time by running away" Matt suggested having Tom and Edd shake their heads no.

"He knows where we go every time. He comes from the future" Tom reminds Matt, soon everyone realizes that they have nowhere to go sense Future Edd will know where they are.

They all were thinking of a plan that can work until Future Edd comes barging in the house, causing everyone to scatter around.

Future Edd looked around the living room to see no one there. While everyone was hiding in the best places. Matt put a finial on top of his head to look like a lamp, which works. Tom was hiding in the closet, Edd was in one of the cabinets at the TV stand, Tord just climbed two walls and stayed out of sight, and (Y/N) was just hiding behind the couch.

(Y/N) decide to take a small peck over the couch to see Future Edd, which will give away (her/his) hiding spot. Tom noticed it; sense he was peeking out of the closet and whispered to (Y/N) to stop.

Future Edd then walks near where Edd was hiding, soon being in front of it. (Y/N) thought protecting (her/his) family is important, and almost stopped Future Edd. Tord came out of his hiding spot to pick (her/him) up and almost went back until Future Edd opened up the cabinet and pulled Edd out of it.

"Edd listens to me Tord is-" Future Edd tried to warn Edd but was interrupted by a punch by Tord in the jaw.

The group wasted no time to run out of there before Future Edd can recover from that punch.

They ran in the street, not knowing where they were at or where to go, realizing their safety now from Future Edd for a moment or more.

They quickly ran far away from the house, thinking it was safe.

"What should we do?" Matt panic,

"Ditch Tord and run" Tom suggested.

"No, we are going to try and send future me back to his timeline...somehow..." Edd said,

"I like Edd plan" (Y/N) said.

"So then, how are we going to get you to his timeline?" Tom asked,

"I....do not know," Edd said, sounding like he had a plan but did not,

"Future Edd must have a device that sent him here," Tord said "once we get that, we can send him back"

Everyone agreed to that idea.
