It was quiet besides the hum of the AC in the car blasting cold air around, Dream hadn't said a word since the motel. A bitter silence, George was too nervous to even reach his hand out and switch on the radio in fear of disturbing his already hurting friend.

Dream began humming, George glanced away from the road to look at him, his head resting against the window and his legs perched up leant against the door with his chin burying into his knees. George looked back to the road deciding to just listen to the soft hums, he turned off of the main road into smaller street roads. He noticed Dream had stopped humming, now was sitting up looking around.

"this is his- this is his street!" he beamed sitting up practically on the edge of the seat.

"do you know which house?" George asked driving slower through the street, it was dark bow the sky filled with full stars and a half cut moon.

Dream nodded, it was hesitant and barely noticeable yet it was there. George continued to drive slowly down the street, until he was interrupted by Dream shouting "THERE!"

He pulled up, turning his headlights off and taking a deep breath.

"you don't need to do this George" Dream sighed.

"Of course i do Dream, you want this."

"I'm scared George."

George turned meeting Dreams eyes, his expression met his words, his eyes droopy and nervous and his hands playing with eachother, George offered a comforting smile.

"Don't be scared Dream, he might be confused at first but i'm sure he'll be happy to see you."

"Not for that, no-" Dream shook his head followed by a sigh, "to pass over. i don't wanna leave you."

"It'll be good Dream, it's a beautiful place," George used his hands as he spoke, animated almost with a big smile trying his hardest to be a supportive friend.

"I don't want to leave you." Dream finally confessed dropping his head and staring at the floor of the car, George raised a brow.

"You don't even know me that well Dream, you'll be okay and i'll be okay, promise."

"No." Dream sighed, looking back up to George, "i feel it when i'm with you."

"Feel what Dream?" George raised a brow tilting his head slightly in confusing like a confused cat, he nibbled in his bottom lip lightly to ease his nerves and raising heart rate.

"The pain, you're hurting but you won't admit it. You-" Dream paused eyes meeting George, brown eyes quickly looking away almost in shame followed by a nervous chuckle "you're hurting. like i was."

"I'm fine Dream, anyways, let's go see your friend yeah?" his words were finished with a clap of his hands and him taking the keys out of the car

"but geo-" before Dream could finish George pulled his door open and got out of the car beginning to walk up to sapnaps house. Dream sighed appearing next to him and following along.

George stood infront of the door reaching up the knocker, looking to Dream who slowly nodded with a weak smile. George exhaled finally knocking, they stood awkwardly waiting for someone to open up.

The sound of chains being unlocked and with the pull of the door a man stood infront of him, he was George sheikh, well kept beard and a cap covering his hair, he looked tired with deep bags beneath his eyes, his shirt hung weirdly loose over his body like it was way too big for him.
