Alana's pov

"What about this one Mikey?" I ask, stepping out of the dressing rooms where my maids had helped me get into the dress. I was currently picking out a prom dress, but instead of going out to shop, I ended up having them bring the dresses to me.

This dress was a deep sapphire blue, and I felt really confident in it.

Alana's dress:

Mikey looked from his phone and raised his eyebrows.

"Alana, who are you even going to prom with?" I laugh.

"You and the guys silly!" Mikey sighs, and go back to scrolling on his phone.

"That one is nice, but personally I think you'd look better in green. Although that dress is rather flattering, and I do like it." My mother pipes up. I smile warmly at her.

"I think any color looks nice on you, personally." Mikey says quietly, as I walk behind the changing curtain once more. My maids helped me slip out of my dress, and presented me with the next one. I slipped into it and had them zip this one up as well.

I step out, and immediately go to the mirror. I look at myself from a couple different angles, before spinning. My mom looks like she was deep in thought, and Mikey was chuckling at me.

"I like it, but it looks to average everyday. Buy that one, but not for prom." I nod, and go once again, behind the curtains. My maids show me this beautiful, exclusive and devine dress. I smile, and stroke the bodice of it.

"I-its beautiful." I say. The maids smile at me, and help me into it.

I step out, and hear a collective gasp from everyone in the room

I step out, and hear a collective gasp from everyone in the room. However, the loudest would have to have been from Mikey, who was blushing a great deal while looking at me. I looked at my mother, and she had the same look I did. Of admirablity. She smiled and dabbed her wet eyes with her gloves hand.

"Do you like it?" I ask. My father cleared his throat. He had been silent up until then.

"Alana, you're stunning." I smiled, and did the same as my mother had, dabbing my eyes with my hand. Mikey got up from the bed and opened my jewelry box that my grandmother had given me. He wound it up a good amount, and let go. The soft tune of piano played as he approached me. He offered out his hand, as you would for a dance. I took it, and he quickly whisked me away into a waltz across my bedroom. As the classical music from my jewelery box played, we danced around my room. My mother and father both watched, as the song ended and Mikey spun me around. I was giggling, and smiling the entire time. As I spun, he stepped back, letting the full length of the skirt flow through the air. After I finished my spin, I smiled.

"So, I like the dress, what about you guys?" Mikey asked. My parents smiled.

"We love it." My mother responds. "And now it's time for your suit." Mikey looks confused. He turns to me.

"Surprise! I set up a tailor downstairs for you, go get your dream suit." His face formed a very wide smile.

"Alana! You shouldn't have!" He says, hugging me tightly. I giggle.

"I couldn't help myself. Now go on, have some fun." I say. He smiles, and with all his excitement, kisses my cheek without thinking. He runs off downstairs as he exclaims 'thank yous' without another thought of the action. I turn bright red, but hold my smile. I bunch up the dress and walk off to my maids, telling them to buy it for the prom.
