This story is not like other stories you may hear. Where the prince and his princess get a happy ending. Or the ones where the hero wins the story. All in due time, you will realize that you are a villain in someone's story. However, it is up to you to decide who is the villain of your story, or if you are a villain in theirs.

Once upon a time,

You and your childhood friend James Hook became tired of grown-ups. There were so many responsibilities, no fun or adventures. James had come over to your home having being invited to one of your parent's parties. His father had dropped him off and asked your parents if he could be looked after while he went out of town while he set off for the seas to deliver tea to the Americas. You and James had become very close to the point your parents had joked that you would one day marry him. He wasn't bad-looking in your opinion. In fact, he was quite handsome for his age. You were both fourteen years old. It wasn't odd for someone to start thinking of romantic relationships with someone. But the thought of growing up and getting married startled you, and you did not wish for that to come true.

The gathering was absolutely embarrassing. Your Aunt Matilda had come over and told your parents that you needed to spend less time with your brothers, more time with proper ladies. That you needed to take more etiquette classes, tea time with the girls, and prepare for the day a man shall ask for your hand in marriage. It was then that you vowed to one day escape from your expected duties. One night your wish had come true. James had come barging in the room after he heard you talking to someone or something worrying him. There stood a boy by your bed. You were smiling at him. It was a smile that he wished you had reserved for him and him alone. You were his friend and did not think a random commoner or whoever this boy was deserved your affections.

"Y/N, who is this?" James asked.

"Oh James, this is Peter. Peter Pan. Peter this is James Hook" You shrieked in excitement.

"Pleasure," Peter said raising a hand to shake with James.

"Why are you here?"-James

"He is here to teach us to fly! And to take us to Neverland where we never have to grow up. It could just be the three of us, James! No rules, pirates, adventures, mermaids!" Y/N said excitedly.

"Excuse me, but are you delusional?" James asked a bit freaked out.

Peter gave him an odd look, somewhat offended. Then he began rising in the air, flying.

James couldn't believe his eyes. He immediately took a liking to the boy after that. He had given them fairy dust and took them to Neverland. From there on, everything had changed. The three of them had met with the lost boys, watched the mermaids lay across the rocks sunbathing, met the native tribe, and saw pirates. Peter had flown over to the ship obviously finding it fun to taunt them in any way he can by being silly and having fun. Peter had then taught you both how to wield a sword, to fight, block, and learn the pathways of the Island.

For the next few years, everything was all fun and games fighting side by side at pirates. You and James had grown for the two years that you lived in Neverland, but after that, you had stopped. The two of you were the age of a sixteen-year-old. The food was somehow just as good as it was in London, perhaps even better. You and James had lived in a cave for the most part where the fort was. Peter had a secret hideout with the lost boys and did not wish for anyone else to find out where in case they were to be outed. The only one he did tell was you. Peter seemed to have a fondness and protective stance when it came to you. Deep down, you all knew he was not capable of love. He was just a boy having fun and that was his biggest priority. It was more than likely he saw you as a mother figure than anything else. But then one day the fun and games came to an end. Tinkerbell had come home one evening giving you bad news. You had asked her to tell you how your little brother aged 10 now was doing since he had become sick recently according to her last visit there. You had learned that if you were to return home, you were promised to a neighbors son to take your hand in marriage. The boy named Rodney Y/LN. If you were to return, money would be given to buy the medicine for your brother. It was decided and you informed James and Peter that you would be going home and to never come back. James and Peter tried to fight your decision to leave. Of course, you rejected them. You returned home to London with the power of pixie dust and happy thoughts. The next two years your family was happy to have had you back except they did not pamper you as most families would have. You endured it for the sake of your brother. At the age of eighteen, Rodney had proposed to you and the engagement was final. Before you could accept the money, however, your brother Allden had died. From there you tried to back out of the marriage seeing no purpose in marrying him. But your parents then said that if you did, they would be seen as an outcast and you would have dishonored their entire family.
