1998, April of 29th. a pair of twins were welcomed into the world by their loving parents. they couldn't be more thankful. though, their older brother, ron was a bit jealous of his parents having to share the love, they were still a family happy.

they named the boys ethan and elijah and from a young age ethan and elijah were inseperable. they'd prank their older brother together, play video games together, work on school projects together and take a stroll through the evergreen forest surrounding their house together almost everyday.

all through-out elementary school they stuck with each other like two peas in a pod. elementary school was also the time elijah got diagnosed with severe social anxiety and imposter syndrome. elijah's parents felt very bad for their little boy but ethan made everything better.

ethan was very overprotective ocer his brother. they had such a strong bond that you couldn't even be friends with ethan without being friends with elijah. they were like a buy one, get one free deal.

during this time elijah realised ethan was his polar opposite, so extroverted, talkative and full of life. elijah thought they'd be the same since they were twins but that wasn't the case. ethan made friends everywhere he went without trying, he possesed such aura that made everyone like him, elijah wasn't like that at all.

that made elijah feel a bit insecure but deep down he knew he didn't care as long as he had ethan on his side. elijah was subjected to unwanted socializing because of his brother being an utter extrovert. he hated it, he wanted out but he didn't wanna leave ethan. he was the only one he had but that changed, ethan changed.

middle school rolled around and ethan found new things. he developed a major obsession with football and girls. the girls didn't mind him either to say the least, he had a streak of getting every girl he wanted.

he stopped playing video games with elijah as he was too busy sneaking into jessie's house to make out and do other unholy things with her. soon enough, he became a part of the school football team at the very end of middle school.

then he completely cut off elijah to hang out with his new jock friends. ethan especially grew very close with the football team captain, jack, even closer than what ethan and elijah used to be years ago.

elijah wasn't mad at his brother for leaving him. he expected it, he always expected the worse. what actually enraged him was the fact that ethan made friends with the worst kind of people. the kind of people who bullied elijah relentlessly and since ethan was a part of their friend group, he just stood there and did nothing. sometimes, he even joined in to mock elijah.

ethan was doing everything he swore he never would, let elijah get bullied and make friends with people who didn't accept the buy one get one free policy.

and things only got worse in high school.

first day of high 11th grade was one of elijah's worst days ever. his crush jules had called him an unfuckable nerd in the hallway earlier and jack gave him a black eye for not doing his science assignment. ethan, as usual stood there and did nothing.

elijah didn't know what to do or how to handle this? he felt weak and helpless, he didn't have the guts to tell his parents and his own brother was a dick. elijah felt trapped in this horrible lifestyle.

he desperately wanted to break free.
