I speed across the forest, the forest I once lived in, it's night time and the moon is full. The Scavengers have brought us half way through Michigan. I keep going, I'm near the lake, my right paw is badly injured, the water will help me heal. It hurts to hear nothing, no calls begging me to come back, saying that they forgive me, that they don't care that I'm a black wolf, but I trashed that away, the moment I lied about my identity.
~Third person POV~
"Juli!" Christine calls desperately, but Juli just doesn't come back or slow down for that matter.
Christine's head turns sharply to Jazmin, Anely, Deliana, Crystal, Liam, Zayn, Louis, and Niall.
"Are you gonna let her run?!" she asks them incredulously.
"She choose to run." Anely says coldly.
"DID YOU GAVE HER A CHOICE?!"
Deliana seems to think of something, then detaches herself from Louis and walks until she's between Jazmin and Christie.
"Jazmin, you once told me that even when you think you did nothing wrong you still have to say sorry. I think this time you DID something wrong and it was to judge her, you too Anely. Didn't you say that we wouldn't judge her five minutes ago?" She looks at Jazmin and Anely intensely.
"I know you're upset, so am I. But wouldn't you at least think of the things she just pointed out? Did we ever showed any disposal to help a black wolf? No! Have YOU -she looks at Jazmin alone- not shift in front of her, would you have said your or any of our identities? No! Then why are we judging her for?" she asks.
A heavy silence settles in. The atmosphere tense, more tense than before.
"I always thought black wolves were traitors..." At the sound of a voice, everyone turns in the direction of the white wolf, who has been quiet all this time. "We've been raised with the story of their betrayal, and we developed resentment towards them. We pushed them aside when they begged for help..." He looks at every single wolf with intensity, being the most respected wolf breed, they don't try to hide their emotions. He walks slowly, looking intently.
"We might have judged them wrong." he confesses.
"A white wolf judging wrong?" A gray male wolf says.
"We try our best to be fair. But we are NOT perfect." he says a bit harshly. The gray wolf lowers his head.
"But she lied." Crystal says in a small voice. Not angry, just confused.
"She did, and she did not denied it, did she?" he turns to Jazmin. "She save your life. She decided to throw her safety away and you know it." He says walking towards her.
"She protects you and you fight against her. This it's exactly what made her reluctant to tell the truth in the first place."
He turns around talking now to not only Jazmin, but to the rest of the wolves, and his friends too. "Maybe they did it, maybe they did not, but we should know she can't control what happened before she was even born. She's more than deserving of a good life, I'll make sure of that." he whispers the last part, and starts to walk towards the destroyed wall.
"Hey!" he stops and turns his head to show he's listening.
"I'll go with you." she says simply. Christine holds a huge amount of respect for her. Juli did what no common wolf did. She sacrificed a lot, now its time to give her something in return. It's time to show her she's not alone. She understands what she's going through now.
"I will too." a small female Red wolf says.
"Me too." a large Gray male wolf says.
The rest also positioned beside the white to help. The only ones left were the girls and their mates.
