~Sherlock's POV~

I sat in my chair with my legs pressed against my chest.

'I NEED A CASE'! I yelled.

'You've just solved one', John shot back.

'Ahh, that was this morning, when's the next one'? I said, tapping my fingers.

'There's nothing on the website, maybe we should phone Lestrade'.

'You go do that'.

I waited impatiently in my seat, hoping it won't be a boring case if Lestrade actually had one for me. After a while, John came back into the room.

'Well'?

'The only cases he has at the moment are some old unsolved ones'.

'Well, that's better than nothing'. I stood up, put my coat and scarf on and we headed down.

I was given the files. I scanned through them until I got to one.

'How about this'?

'(Y/n) (l/n), reported missing 10 years ago from now, Sherlock, it's possible she's already dead, abandoned somewhere', Lestrade said.

'Well, it's our job to find the body and return her, I bet her parents would love that, come on John'.

'What shall I call this'?

'What? So you can put it on your blog'?

'Yeah, why not? This sounds like a good case, maybe the case of the missing girl'?

'Too simple'.

'Lost and found'?

'We haven't found her yet, John'.

'Sherlock, Sherlock', I hear Lestrade call.

'Not now, we have a case to solve'.

'It's about her parents, Sherlock'.

'We're going there'.

~Your POV~

'She would rain all day, couldn't wait for her sun'.

I was reading my mother's book again. It was the only book that I read in the cabin. I put it away when I was called. I went down the stairs.

'Hello kitten'.

'Hello'.

'I decided you should go out today but right after you have to go upstairs and I better hear that guitar being played'. I nodded. 'Good girl'.

I was allowed out until recently. I had a tracker on my ankle and he warned me about running away. It was useless because there wasn't a road for miles and at night the woods are dangerous.

I walked out and whistled, hearing the birds sing. It was my only type of music for the last 10 years. Lucky I brought my book. I sat on the ground, leaning on a big tree trunk.
