Avery's POV
I get ready to jump when I hear somebody yell "Hey! Stop!" Turning around I see the one and only Ashton Irwin. His face is a mix of fear and recognition. "A-Avery?" Ashton stutters. Just my luck. I go to step back when Ashton speaks again. "Avery you don't have to do this. Stay here please." Surprised, I say back "Why should I? Nobody cares about me. Everybody knows that I don't belong here. I can't live like this anymore." As I finish I look into Ashton's eyes seeing them fill with tears. "You have to stay Avery, people need you here." Ashton says, it comes out pained. Tears are streaming down both our faces by now. I let out a sad laugh. "I have no one. You know that, my mom is gone. All my friends have gone and joined your group. I have to go through the people I've known since primary school laugh at me, say cruel things to me everyday, I get abused by my father every time I go home, my arms and thighs are littered with cuts and scars. So you, Ashton Fletcher Irwin, don't fucking tell me that people NEED me. I'm irrelevant."
That's the last thing before I step off the edge and here a fearful "No!"
