| ONE ↻ ALCOHOL AND ANGER"DIE. DIE. DIE." the female spat, aggressively jabbing at the piece of flesh on her plate. Tears glistened in her dark irises, threatening to spill down her rosy cheeks. "You fucking prick! I hate you!"
Never had she imagined heartbreak would hurt this bad and maybe it wouldn't have if she hadn't found a different woman in his bed, naked. The memory replayed through her mind like a never-ending film, fueling her anger towards the unsuspecting pieces of steak.
"Why? Just why?" her voice faded. The knife fell through the grasp of her fingertips as her hand dropped limp on the table. She stared down at the pieces of meat, bringing her face close. "Was I not enough? Was I too clingy?"
She was embarrassed, angry, disappointed, but above all, confused. Just yesterday, they were sharing a smoothie, lying on his couch as a movie played on the flat screen tv. Yet, not even 24 hours later, she had caught him lying in bed with another woman. It made no sense to her.
She tightly secured her fingers around the handle of the glass mug, bringing the rim up to her lips. Chugging down the rest of the scotch left, she slammed down the glass onto the table, startling everyone around her.
"The next time I see you, mark my words, I will kill you, you fucking asshole." she growled darkly, glaring at the steak in front of her.
If no one had been staring at her before, they sure as hell were now.
"Is she okay?"
"What's got her so pissed?"
"I feel bad for the asshole she's talking about."
Whispers spread like wildfire through the bar. All eyes were now on the "steak-slayer".
But Tzuyu couldn't care less that people were judging her. Her mind was clouded with, once, beautiful memories between her and the man she loved. Except the memories, now, haunted her. Following her around in the back of her mind; making every bone in her body fill with hatred for the man she once called hers.
She hated him. She hated what she was going through because of him. But, as messed up as it was, she still loved him and if he came back asking for her back, there was no doubt that she would take him back. That's what she hated most.
He made her trust him. He made her love him. He made her happy. But all for what? Just to break her in the end.
If this was what the end of every love story felt like, she didn't want to fall in love ever again.
Everything in the room started to spin as her thoughts started to go wild. She shook her head lightly, shaking off all the thoughts running through her mind. Absentmindedly kicking her chair back, she stood up. Stumbling from wall to wall, she made her way to where the bartender stood.
"Can I get another scotch?" Tzuyu slurred, resting her elbow on the counter. She shifted all her weight onto the counter, sighing out all her pent up frustration.
A group of men waltzed in, grabbing everyone's attention.
Tzuyu furrowed her brows staring at one of the men in particular. He looked so much like Junghyun. Or was it because of the gallons of alcohol in her system distorting her vision. She didn't know. All she knew was she hated him so much in that moment.
Impulsively, Tzuyu stumbled over to where the men stood. Anger pulsated through her veins, getting closer to him. As she stood before him, she swung her arms, the palm of her hand landing right on his cheek. "You fucking bastard."
Being slapped by a random girl was definitely not on Taehyung's plans tonight, but plans change sometimes.
He stood there frozen, processing everything that just happened. A stinging sensation burned through his cheek. His eyebrows furrowed in confusion; he didn't even know the girl.
That left two possibilities: she either was drunk out of her mind or simply just out of her mind. The immense aroma of alcohol practically dripping off of her led him to believe she was wasted.
The confusion quickly turned into fury. He respected women but not more than himself. He wasn't going to be disrespected by anyone, let alone a stranger.
"What did you just call me?" His voice came out velvety and low, trembling with rage. His fist clenched as he took a step towards her.
"A fucking bastard, you know what, no, you're a dickhead, a good for nothing douche bag!" She practically yelled in his face, tears streaming down her face. "I fucking hate you so damn much."
He scoffed, "Listen here, lady, I don't know who the hell pissed in your food but you better not take it out on people you don't know. They might not be as nice as I am."
"Nice my ass, you're the shittest person I've ever met. And you making yourself into the victim just proves it." She growled back, clenching her jaw.
"Victim? Me? Says the girl that came up to me, slapped me, and brought out the water works. Sure, I'm the one making myself into the victim." Sarcasm laced into his voice, spitting out the words with venom.
If looks could kill, they would both be laying on the floor motionless by now.
"Tae, let's go." A soft voice interrupted. A male with bleached blonde locks stood beside Taehyung, bringing his hand up to grip Taehyung's shoulder, in an attempt to calm him down.
Taehyung took one last glare at the girl, before turning his back on her. "She's not worth my time anyway."
A small, warm hand tightly gripped his wrist just as he was getting ready to leave with his friends. A heavy sigh left his lips as he turned around. She just couldn't leave him alone, could she?
"You don't get to walk out of this, you jerk." the girl spat out the last word harshly.
"O-," she smashed her index finger up to his lips to silence him.
But instead of words coming out of her mouth next, the components of her last meal did—and quickly too.
Just in a matter of seconds, yellow and brown not-quite-liquid slurry hurled up from her stomach and all over Taehyung.
Now not only was he pissed, but he also reeked of sour rot.
Great, he was assaulted, called multiple not-so-pleasant names, and also had been vomited on. How could his night possibly get any worse?
