Aakifah has come home to stay for some days, she was missing her parents and sisters, so she came here. She sat with them, talking about old memories, reminiscing them but somewhere she was feeling restlessness, sitting amidst her family she was missing him.
She didn't want to accept that fact but still, she couldn't control her restlessness. It was as if her heart was compelling her to hear his voice once or to see him once. It has been just a day since she came here yet she was feeling like this.
And as if her untold prayers were accepted, her phone rang showing his name on the screen and at the mention of his name the smile escaped her lips was noticed by everyone sitting around her. She excused herself and went to the balcony.
"As salamu Alaikum," He said, and she smiled in relief hearing his voice after a day.
"Walaikum as-salam" She replied with the hint of happiness in her voice, and she looked up at the night's sky.
"You look happy!" He started more than asking, and her smile widened at that, she fixed her gaze on the one particular twinkling star in the sky.
"I am with my family, of course, I am happy." She replied nonchalantly while biting her lower lip because of her white lie.
"Umm, sure but..." He said and stopped in the middle for a moment before continuing "you weren't this smiling when you came out on the balcony" He said and her eyes narrowed and she gasped. She immediately looked below and there he was standing leaning on his bike while waving his mobile in the air and indicated to her to come down with his hand.
She firstly smacked her head for the stupidity she did and then blushed seeing him there. She rushed downstairs and opened the main door to welcome him.
"You are looking red like a tomato" He teased her, who controlled her hands from smacking him playfully knowing her mother was just behind her and she didn't wish to hear her scolding, so she gave him a fake sweet smile on which he chuckled.
He was welcomed in her home with great khatirdari after all he was their damaad. Finally, after all of the things, they thought to give them privacy and tell Aakifa to show him her room. She nodded her head and brought him to her room.
She closed the door behind her, he was standing in the middle of her room and was scratching the back of his head. She took steps towards him and looked at him, who was looking nervous.
"Um... Can... Can i" Before he could finish his question, she wound her arms around him putting her head on his chest. He closed his eyes feeling her body close to him and reciprocated her hug, he snuggled his head in her neck.
"I missed you" He mumbled from her neck on which she smiled, she missed him too but was she gonna tell him that? No!
One more moment when her heart started melting at his cute gesture. How much time would it exactly take to melt completely? Or it has already melted but the owner is unknown to this fact!!

When Aakifa returned to her sasuraal this time she took one precious thing with her. She had taken the pendant which he had given to her with a thought that now that day is not far when she will wear this.
She definitely trusts him now, and that was the deal, right? That she would wear this pendant when she would be ready to start her married life! And her relationship was not progressing further because he told her that he would only take a step when she would trust him as Trust is the basis of every relationship.
And now she trusts him, but still, she wanted one solid reason to wear this. She was thinking this when she realised that it was Sabur's birthday after two days! This will be perfect. She thought.
