Teri uss har muskurahat par muskurana chahta hu
Tune meri zindagi mein aakar mera saara gham durr kar diya
Toote kaanch sa tha main
Kohinoor kar diya
It was almost a month since Yumna had been working under Zaviyar. The work pressure was a bit too much since the project was in it's initial phase. Work was going so well but there wasn't any ounce of happiness within her.
Because her humsafar wasn't there with her with whom she could share her happiness. But deep down in her heart she knew that Yawar was proud of her.
In this whole time, Yumna had found a friend in Zaviyar, who she knew went out of his way to help her. Be it arranging a car for her to drop her back home or even sending food from time to time so she doesn't remain hungry. They still maintained their professionalism and respected each other from the view of a boss and an employee.
For Zaviyar, doing something for Yumna made him ease his guilty conscience. Every day, he made a mission to help her with something. He felt that it was the least that he could do for her.
Yumna was in her cabin when the door knocked. "Come in," she softly said. The door creaked open and Zaviyar stepped in, carrying a few files in his hands.
Yumna looked up and saw who it was. "Sir, you could have called me," she said as she carefully tried to get up from her seat since files were piled up on her lap. Zaviyar held up his palm to refrain her from getting up.
"It's okay," he said, dropping a few files on her desk and took a seat across from her. Yumna looked at him in question.
"These are files of the lands that I am thinking of buying for the factory set up," he explained to her. Picking up a file, she went through the details and repeated the same with the other one. After reading all the files, she kept it back on the desk and entered something on her desktop.
"Hmm," she took a long pause, bringing Zaviyar's attention to her. "This land on the outskirts of the city seems more apt to me. Looking at all the three land details, there isn't really an issue regarding deposition of waste and availability of water as it is equally available on every land. But this land on the outskirts of the city, we can reduce the price by seven percent from the market price in comparison to the other lands which won't be an easy bargain." She turned her computer screen towards him and said, "I think for this land we can reduce upto this price. It's a profit through and through." she pointed out the rates she had calculated and entered in the spreadsheets.
Zaviyar thought for a while as he mentally weighed the pros and cons of going through this decision. Like always, there were no cons as Yumna had carefully planned out everything. So without any further questions, he got up from his seat and was about to head back when he stopped halfway.
"Yumna?"
"Hmm?"
"Are you coming to the annual office party?" he asked her. The annual party was something that the Khan Industries hosted every year at their mansion in the honor to celebrate it's hard working employees. It was a great way to make friends and gel with your fellow colleagues. It was a party that every employee looked forward to owing to its grandeur. Yumna had received the invitation to the party a few days ago via mail.
Although she wasn't in the mood to go for it, she thought otherwise. "I guess so," she said, "although I will come a bit later."
There was nothing more to say.
Zaviyar gave a nod. "Well then, see you in the evening."

With nervous strides, Yumna entered the Khan Mansion. Like the office, everything about that mansion screamed elegance. But, the warmth, the feeling of someone's home was there. From the looks of it, she could clearly decipher that along with a lot of money, there was love and care that had taken to build this home.
