"The first week of school is officially done!" Delilah whispered to herself in triumph, while making her way out of Economics. Walking towards her locker someone ran into her, knocking both their books onto the crowded floor.

"Sorry"

"I'm sorry! I wasn't looking where I was going!" The stranger exclaimed before bending down to pick up the mess.

"No your totally fine! I-" She began while squatting down to help, before her sentence was cut short.

"Hey Theo, hurry up!" A tall, blonde male called out across the overfilled hall. He was standing with a group of what looked like Lacrosse players, dressedq in their uniforms.

"Coming," Cody responded. Turing back to Delilah, he apologized for the second time. "Once again I'm sorry for bumping into you!"

"You're totally fine!" Delilah reasoned while reaching out and grabbing the books Theo offered her. "Good luck with the lacrosse players. Bye"

Before he even got a goodbye in, she was on her way to her locker. She was never the person to judge someone, but even in the short conversation she held with Theo, she felt as if she needed to stay always from him.

Dragging her attention back to the task at hand, Delilah places her books inside the locker and overheard a conversation going on between the two brunette males beside her.

"I just don't trust him Scott." Stilinski whined.

"I don't get why you don't trust him." A new voice, who turned out to be Liam Dunbar, replied sharply.

Stiles began to look around the hall, through his locker, and under the books in his hand. "I just can't find where I asked for your opinion."

"Delilah! Are you coming?" Care questioned with a sly smile on her face, causing the three boys to look Delilah's way. Delilah blushed in embarrassment of being caught, before closing her locker.

"I question why i'm friends with you sometimes."

"Oh shut it, you know you love me." Caroline reminded with a laugh. "Why were you spying on McCall, Stilinski, and the Sophomore?"

"I actually don't know, their convo sounded interesting."

Caroline gave her friend a questioning glance before dropping the conversation entirely, knowing that if she continued to question and embarrass her friend, she won't open up. The two girls quietly made their way outside and towards Caroline's car.

"Beacon Grill?" Delilah asked with a pleading look on her face.

"Beacon Grill." Caroline answered. "You better tell me why you were talking to Theo Raeken and why you were spying on your neighbor."

Delilah gave her friend a look that said "really?" before nodding her head. Care started the car and the best friends were on their way. Neither of them noticed the glances Scott and his pack gave the girls.

Laying on her bed, Delilah finished the last of her Economics homework. She stood up and placed the book down on her bedside table, while giving Remmy, the family's Australian Shepherd, a pat on the head before heading out of her room.

A traditional Friday night for the Summer's consisted of watching cliche hallmark movies to appease Mrs. Summers and later, after Mrs. Summers retired for the night, watching horror movies with Mr. Summers. Sometime Caroline would come over and be apart of the fun, but tonight was different.

Delilah walked down the stairs expecting to see her mother and father on the couch, but instead found them rushing around in the kitchen.

"Umm... What's going on-" she began.

"Oh good! Delilah your down. The McCall's and Stilinski's are coming over." Hannah Summers interrupted.

"Why?"

"Because they are our friends and we invited them." Rick explained.

"You guys have friends?"

"Yeah, more than you." Her mother sassed. "Now go get dressed... oh and you can invite Care over!"

"You wound me mother!"

Slowly making her way back up the staircase, Delilah grabbed her phone from her back pocket and called Care.

Explaining the situation she was in, Delilah made it to her room and began rifling through her closet. "I have nothing oven remotely nice to wear!" Delilah complained.

"Trying to look nice for Stilinski?"

Delilah turned red at the reminder of the crush she had in Stiles back at the beginning of Sophomore year.

"You're blushing! I can feel it." Caroline said while getting inside her car. "Wait.. do you still like him?"

"No, i'm blushing because you just brought up the most embarrassing 5 months of my life!" Delilah defended. "Just get over here so I don't have to sit with them all by myself looking like a crazy person."

Caroline laughed at her friends dramatics."Okay see you soon."

To say dinner was awkward was an understatement. The parents got along great and were currently sitting in the living room catching up on all the missed years. The teens on the other hand were still sat at the dining room table, awkwardly trying to find something in common.

"So..." Scott started.

"What do you guys think of Theo being back?" Care questioned. This was the point of the conversation that Delilah tuned out. She didn't arrive until Freshman year and didn't know anything from before high school.

"Stiles doesn't like him one bit. He even broke into the-"

"Ah, no. We don't bring that up." Stiles interrupted.

"Wow De your not the only one who doesn't like Theo."

At that sentence, both Stiles and Delilah looked up at Caroline. Stiles couldn't believe someone agreed with him and Delilah couldn't believe Caroline would share that information with anyone.

"I swear I'm not as judgmental as she's making me out to be!" Delilah tried to convince. Stiles was still in shock that someone wasn't falling for the charm of Theo Raeken.

"Why don't you like him." Stiles asked.

"I-" She began, twisting her hair around her finger. "He just gave me a weird vibe."

"You don't like him because his vibe was off?" Scott questioned.

"No it's not that, I just, he doesn't seem like he can be trusted." Delilah tried and failed to explain her reasoning. "It's stupid I know."

"No, I feel that same way."
