Stuck in Time

The Beginning

Daniel wakes up to something amazing. A beautiful smile and two captivating blue eyes that reminds him of the great blue sky. "Morning" he says sleepily yawing, his morning voice is grudgingly and deep which she loves to hear. "Good morning" Sarah responds smiling. They stare at each other for about a good five minutes. "What is it?" She giggles sitting hear head onto her elbow. " your just...." He pauses and caresses her cheek. "...So damn beautiful." She smiles and leans over to his lips where they meet into a passionate kiss. Finally pulling back from each other they both say the magic words "I love you" at the same time. Which makes them laugh hysterically.

Sarah already ready and dressed in her blue nurse attire for her workplace in the hospital, prepares breakfast. The smell of the food travels throughout the house and Daniel still brushing his teeth swiftly darts from the bathroom like a little kid and into the kitchen. "Ish that pancakers?" He says with the toothbrush still in his mouth. "Geez Daniel!" She laughs as she flips the pancake over. "Go finish up!" she tries to hold back her laughter as he spits the remaining tooth paste in the sink. He boyishly smirks at her and travels around the counter top moving like a snake that's about to prance its prey and wraps his arms around her waist but he drops from a snake to a cuddly puppy. Daniel drops his head and nuzzles Sarah's neck and smells her morning smell of her cucumber shampoo.

"I love you Sarah so so much." Daniel squeezes her tighter and the smell of the burning pancake begins to reach their noses. Sarah smiles gently and scoops the pancake onto the plate, while Daniel stays behind her. "and so do I Daniel" Sarah turns around and throws her arms around Daniels neck and starts laughing. She then gets her thumb and runs it over Daniels bottom lip to the corner of his mouth and wipes the leftover toothpaste that was overlooked. "Thanks" Daniel says with a small embarrassed chuckle.

Sarah looks into his eyes and feels that something is wrong. " Is everything okay?" She pulls him in closer. " yeah everything fine. Why do you ask?" Sarah shrugs her shoulders and continues to look into Daniels light brown eyes. When Daniels emotions are strong somehow they affect the color of his eyes. One day there dark brown another day their light then in the middle. Sarah took notice of this the day she was moving away from their hometown, where they first meet. She could now tell that when he has something heavy going on, his eyes were a light brown.

"Must be nothing" she smiles. Daniel takes a relieving breath of air. " yeah nothing" he says as he kisses her forehead.

Sarah leaves to work at 9 o'clock and Daniel sits alone in his home office relooking the envelope he received in the mail. "This is some kind of joke." he says still trying to understand why. The letter had no stamp so it must've been hand delivered he thought. On the front it had Daniels name neatly printed in handwritten cursive and on the back it said "IMPORTANT! YOU NEED TO BE ALONE! 

He reads the letter in his head:

Dear Daniel,

I don't know how your going to take this but Sarah's life is in danger... On June 7th 2015 she would be murdered on the day of your wedding. You must think I'm lying right? By this time now two days ago you went wedding ring shopping with your best man Chris and saw that silver lining ring with two diamonds on the side. If I'm correct you would've have read this letter no later then 9:30 since Sarah has left to work and you listened to me when I said you need to be alone. At 9:48 you would receive a call from Sarah's sister asking if Sarah took her black heels for the after party for Johns birthday. Warrins Chapel on June 7th, at approximately 3:34 pm Sarah Quills will be murdered in her dressing room with a stab wound to the chest. Unfortunately Daniel Sarah's life would be taken in an instant and your the only one who need to figure out who is trying to take her away from us-

At exactly 9:48 The phone rings and Daniel pauses and picks up the phone.

"Elisabeth?"

"Hey Daniel! I've been trying to get ahold of Sarah but she's not returning my calls. Dude have you seen my black heel? You know with the side straps?" She says quickly.

Daniel quickly looks at his watch, 9:48 on the dot...

" For John's birthday?..."

"yeah its this weekend, How'd you know? I guys he already told you guy huh" she says with a little laugh.

"yeah ill look for it... I gotta go."

"what wai-" Daniel slowly hangs up the phone and takes a deep breath. He continues reading.

Its not your fault what's going to happen in the future but you can change any outcome.  Two months from now Daniel. be prepared find out what's wrong and don't overlook any detail. we'll be in touch some way or another... ill be watching closely .
