"Mommy," Emma calls. "Can we watch your and daddy's wedding tape now?"
"Of course my angel." Adrien walks in.
"Yay! Thank you, Daddy" She jumps excitedly.
I open my laptop and look through the tapes and videos. My eyes glimpse at a video of Luka and I feeding each other ice cream. We are giggling in the clip.
"Mommy, what is that? Is it you and daddy giggling?" Hugo asks
"No, no, it was me and,-" I pause for a second. "And - an old friend"
"Found it!" I cheer
"You may now kiss the bride," the mister says in the video.
"Look mommy and daddy are kissing!" Emma cheers
"Ew gross!" Louis cringes and Hugo covers his eyes.
Adrien and I laugh
"You guys are so cute," Adrien hugs them.
"Me too, daddy!" Emma exclaims.
Adrien picks her up and spins her around the room.
In the evening, I call Adrien to the attic.
"I found some stuff up here." I frown.
"What stuff?" he asks me, concerned.
I hesitate before I tell him. "Things of Luka and I, and Kagami and you." I fold my arms.
"We best get to work then" He sighs.
We delete virtual photos and videos and burn the physical copies. We donate clothing, toys and other artifacts.
While we work I ask "Do you ever think of her? Like, wonder how she is doing now? I mean. It's been 10 years."
"I did. But I haven't in quite some time. Do you ever think of him?" he asks.
"I did too. But now I don't, I'm happy and I wouldn't change a thing." I sigh. "I haven't heard from him or of him since, you know. Sometimes I wonder how they are both doing." I sigh
"Mom, what's the date today?" Louis shouts from below.
"August first"
August 1st. August 1st is the day Luka found out about Adrien and I.
"Mommy, aunt Alya and uncle Nino are here!" Emma yells.
"We're coming!" I shout.
