If you are reading this, I can't believe you made it this far, but I'm really glad you did.
Right before we start, if there is anyone here that hasn't read the first book 'Beautiful Thieves' yet, then I strongly advise that you do, otherwise this book will make zero sense. So, if that applies to you, shoo.
To be honest, I really wasn't sure if I was going to write a sequel. I was initially planning to give the first book a proper ending so that it could thrive (or flop) by itself as a standalone, but then of course I decided to leave you on that cliff-hanger, and there was no way I could just leave it at that.
This story and these characters have found a very large place in my heart. This past year hasn't been great, and if you remember reading the introduction to BT1, then you'll know that I put this story down for a long time, never thinking I would pick it up again.
But I'm seriously glad that I did.
Now, once again, I know I'm not a perfect writer. I know there are flaws in my writing and I know there will be things I should change, and while I appreciate constructive criticism, please be nice about it. I'll admit that I'm a sensitive soul and my self-confidence is at an all-time low. I'd just like for people to enjoy the story and the characters, rather than focusing on everything that I've done wrong. I'm still young, I'm learning new things about my writing every day, and hopefully one day I will be good enough to publish my work which, in all honesty, is all I want to do in life.
Also, just be warned, life is crazy hectic at the moment. I'm about to do my A Levels and will hopefully be starting university in just over a year's time. I'm not sure how frequent my updates will be because I'd hate to overwhelm myself, so just please be patient.
