Y/Ns POV:
-- 2 Weeks Have Passed--
Dear diary, I'd never thought I would actually have any other friends besides Heather, but now I have a whole group of people that seem to care. These past few weeks have been some of the best that I have experienced in my whole life. I've grew much closer to Simon almost as if we'd known each other our whole lives, and I met Deena's younger brother Josh. Josh seemed like he was a cool kid, very nonchalant and quiet. I only spoke to him for about 5 minutes until he went back down into Deena's basement.
I was continuing to write in my diary until I heard a loud BANG on the garage door. I look out my window to see my father, who had ran his car into the garage.
"For christ sake." I mumbled under my breathe, running downstairs and heading outside to see my drunk father passed out in the driver seat.
"I'm not even gonna bother with him today, fucking drunk" I said highly annoyed.
I walked to my car and put my keys in the ignition and drove to school.
--Time Skip To School--
When I walked in I walked in more confidently then I once did, I felt as if I had pride and could actually be seen by people without hiding my face. I walked up to Simon's locker and greeted him.
"Hey Si." I said walking up to him smiling.
"Hey Y/N, whats up." He said giving me a grin.
"You busy after school?" He proceeded to ask me.
"Yeah, I have work later." I said sighing.
"Aw, that sucks. Well what if I swung by your work later?" He said shutting his locker and looking at me.
"Oh that'd be nice." I said blushing
"Cool, I'll see you later then." He said smiling and walking away.
Maybe I'll actually be excited for work now.
--Time Skip To After School--
I had drove into the Shadyside Mall parking lot and proceeded to head instead walking to the B. Daltons. Heather had been restocking some books on the shelves.
"Hey Heatherrr~" I said to her in a singsongy voice.
"Hey dumbass" She jumped down off the stool and put her arm around my neck.
"How are you and Simon?" She said with a huge grin.
"Oh we're good haha." I said blushing.
"Well, I have someone I want you to meet." She takes her arm of my shoulder and starts walking me over to Wheelerz Giftz.
"Hey Ryan! Come out I have someone I want you to meet." Heather said slightly yelling.
A man not much older then me and Heather came out of the store and greeted me.
"Hi I'm Ryan, its nice to meet you." He said smiling and sticking his hand out to shake my hand.
"Y/N, nice to meet you as well." I said smiling and shaking his hand.
"If you ever need anything let me know." He said.
"Thank you, same for you." I said.
We walked away and me and Heather went back to B. Daltons. Heather goes back to shelving the books and I sit at the counter waiting to see if we would have any customers.
"Hey Y/N, I think I'm gonna head out for tonight. You got this under control? Seems busy." She said sarcastically.
"Haha, don't worry Heather you're good." I said giving her a smile while playing with a coin I found on the counter.
