Y/Ns POV:
After that night I knew my feelings for Simon couldn't be hidden any longer, I felt as if I kept bottling up my emotions it would keep eating me up inside so I know what I need to do.
I arose from bed and put on my usual school attire, some jeans, a sweatshirt and my rundown converse.
Brushing through my natted hair in which chunks start coming out I groan.
I scatter my legs in front of one another and make my way downstairs, to the fridge.
Checking the calendar I see the lovely words in red, bloody ink... Exams.
You've got to be fucking kidding me, not only is it a Monday and I work but exams? Fuck my life.
I grab one of my premade coffees from the fridge and a piece of toast and hurry out the door.
When I enter my car I throw my bag in the passenger seat and scurry around looking for my car keys, can't be found.
I check all my pockets, every crevice in between my car and I still can't find them.
I can't be late dude, not today.
I run back inside as quick as I can trying to ignore my excuse as a father sprawled out on the couch.
Keys, keys, keys where the fuck are you.
I look in my fathers direction for the final time and it just so happens that I see my car keys laying in front of his grotesque body.
I swiftly and quietly grab my keys and hurry out the door, jumping into my car and driving away.
Arriving upon school the parking lot is packed but I still manage to find a spot.
I park, grab my shit and go.
Walking inside always gives me this wave of anxiety, probably just because I hate half of these creeps anyway.
I put my headphones on and turned on my music while walking up to my locker, I opened it and grabbed out my books for my next two classes.
To my surprise Heather walked up and put a hand on my head.
"Hey girl, ready for those exams?" Heather said pulling her hand through my hair, a small portion of it came out and I yanked my head back.
"Oops my bad." She said snickering.
"No heather, why would I be excited about exams?" I looked at her like she was stupid.
"Hey I don't know man, some weirdos like you like school." She laughed and stuck her finger in the hole of my sweatshirt.
"Oh please, you act like you're not a weirdo too." I rolled my eyes and staring walking to my first period.
I walked into class, sat at my desk and put my head down until I was approached by a screaming Mrs. Campbell spitting out exam rules.
"Alright class you have approximately one hour to complete this one-hundred page exam." She spat while handing out exam packets.
This is gonna be a long day.
-Time skip to last class period-
Finally three out of four of these shitty exams done.. Now I just have to get through chem.
Oh shit.. Simon.
I walked in with my head down, kicking non-existent particles around with my beat up converse while approaching my desk. Sitting down I get a raging headache from the amount of chemicals that had been used for each exam.
"Alright class, for your chemistry exam you will be assigned to a partner in which you will both work together to combine correct chemicals to create a certain mole equation."
Uh what.
There was a sheet of paper neatly placed on my chem teachers desk in which lab partners were assigned.
Simon and Y/N. The paper had bolded each name and we were somehow together? Am I dreaming or what.
-Simon POV-
Wait? Is this forrealsies.. Me and Y/N as partners for a chem exam... This must be heaven on earth.
I walked over to Y/N and she looked somewhat unpleasant.
"You good shorty apple-pie." I said smirking.
"Please shut up." She spat with a monotone voice.
"Woah, Ill lay off on the nicknames.. For now" I winked.
We gathered the needed supplies and headed over to our station to start mixing, churning and whatever else we needed to get the correct outcome for this monstrosity of an exam.
Y/Ns eyes looked heavy, almost dazed.
"Are you okay?" I said looking with concern.
"Yeah, I just uh don't know what I'm doing.." She said scratching the back of her head and giving an awkward laugh,.
My jaw dropped slightly.
"Uh its okay, I'm good with moles I just need you to start mixing components til we get something that looks right."
What am I saying? Do I have time to google this shit?
Y/N started mixing shit and I started righting shit that made sense and somehow that shit worked. The teacher came over and congratulated us for our good results and combinations and we ended up getting a ninety-seven percent.
"Couldn't have done it without your mixing skills partner." I said nudging my elbow into her side.
Wait was that to like friendzoney? Do I hug her? Say I love you? I don't know fuck this crushy shit.
"You too Si." She said nudging into my hipbone.
Huh, maybe that wasn't a bad way to go.
The bell rang and we said our goodbyes and parted ways.
She's so beautiful.. And her ass is nice too.
