03 | 𝐊𝐚𝐭𝐞, 𝐒𝐢𝗺𝗼𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐉

Ajs POV:

As I was headed to my locker trying to spot my friends I felt an arm wrap around my shoulders. "Well, hello, handsome." My bestfriend Kate said from beside me. Me and Kate do flirt sometimes but not as much as me and simon.

I chuckled and wrapped my arm around her shoulder. "Hey, Kate. Where's Deena and Simon?" I asked. "I dont know about Simon but Deena's right there." She said and pointed in her direction.

I looked where she was pointed and saw Deena at her locker looking at Heather's that was all decorated with notes and R.I.P's. She took her arm off of my shoulder and I did the same.

Kate walked forward a little bit "you see? It's the witch." She said and I smiled. "Sarah fiers baaack." I added with a "ghost voice" and a smile. "Oh, christ. Not you guys too." She said and rolled her eyes.

Kate giggled and dragged Deena and i's sleeves and led us to the girls bathroom. Even though I'm a guy. She let go of our sleeves as we walked into the bathroom.

When we got in we saw the stalls covered in red spray paint. "She reaches from beyond the grave-" Kate said in a spooky voice "to make good men her wicked slaves!" I continued in the same tone with a wide smile.

Then suddenly one of the stalls shot open "she'll take your blood!" Simon yelled scaring Deena while Kate and me stayed standing still smiling. "Simon!" Deena exclaimed in annoyance. "She'll take your head. She'll follow you until you're dead!" Simon used the same voice me and Kate did.

Me and Kate walked over to where Deena was; leaning against a sink. "Woww.. you guys are dicks!" Deena said and I saw Simon looking at me i turned my head in his direction and smiled at him a light blush forming on my face. He smiled back and walked over wrapping an arm around my shoulders just like Kate did.

"Its just fun." Kate backed up with a smile. "Its sick." Deena corrected "what? the dude was wearing a Halloween skull mask! How is that not fun?" Simon asked with a smile arm still around my shoulders. "People died. Heather died. The dude was probably just some sad sack who hated his life, just like the rest of us, except he decided, "hey, why don't I get out of here for good?" And "hey, why don't I take Heather and a couple  other mall rats with me?" Theres no angry dead witch who made him go postal. The only thing that made him go crazy is this town! " Deena rambled then dropped her jacket to the ground.

We stayed silent for a few seconds then Kate finally asked; "are you ok?" Deena the replied "yeah, im fine." "Seems like... maybe you got a little witch in you." Simon said with a smile and it made us laugh. Deena shook her head with a smile.

"Dude, why are you even in here? This is the girls bathroom." Deena said as Simon stood up on a toilet and grabbed a box from the vent. "Hey, you didn't complain when Kate dragged me in here." I said and smiled.

She sent me a playful glared and Simon hopped down from the toilet and held up the box he got. "Candy store." He said and Deena turned around for a second then turned back around.

Kate and Deena then started fixing their hair in the mirror and I looked in the mirror mine was messy but it looked fine, so I didn't really care. "You know we don't actually believe this witch shit, right?" I asked Deena

"Its just, like, fucked up Santa claus or something." Kate said. "Ho ho ho!" Simon said and Iaughed quietly. Deena came up to me and held up a box. "Whats that?" I asked. "I need you to give this to Sam tonight." She said with pleading eyes. "Yeah, no. Not gonna happen." I said. "Oh, come on, AJ." Deena pleaded. "No, Deena. I'm not getting involved in that. Do it yourself." I said and she sighed and looked at Kate.

"Dont look at me. I'm not doin' it either." She said and Deena groaned. "But I'm not going to the game. I quit band." She said. "Since when?" Kate asked. "Since who gives a shit!" Deena scoffed with a laugh.

"Was band the only extracurricular you had left?" I asked and she looked away guilty. "You still have your band uniform, right?" Kate asked and walked over to Simon and knelt down to his level. "You just wear that shit one last time" she continued and picked up the box Simon had.

"I've got something that'll give you the balls to face sam." Kate said and opened the box showing a ton of drugs and money.  

My jaw dropped. "What? You're dealing again? I thought you stopped after this dingus's brother OD'd." Deena said and I offered my hand to Simon which he smile and grabbed it, standing up... also not letting go which I didn't honestly mind. "Timothy?" Simon asked still holding my hand.

"Wh... Timmy wasn't a real OD. He didn't actually die" Kate said and thats when Simon finally realized he was holding my hand. And he let go immediately even tho I didn't really want him to.

"They brought him back." Kate said. And Simon made a defibrillator motion "ja-jing!" He exclaimed and smiled. "You're all morons." Deena said looking at us. "Excuse me? Which one of us is valedictorian, again? President of every club this shithole has to offer." Kate said "definitely not me" I said and laughed as she smiled.

"Im getting out of here. Off to claim my place among the stars, bitch." Kate said and looked at Deena as they both smiled. "Woooo! The witch lives! Long live Sarah fier! Woo!" Some kid yelled dragging a doll of Sarah around, running through the school. "Yeah!" Simon yelled and I smiled at him and shook my head as he laughed.
