chapter 4

after travelling by horse to the bifrost Thor made a deal with heimdall that we could go to jotunheim and back quickly so we could talk (aka fight ) to laufey .

*on jotunheim *

we all stood looking around at the dark and eerie planet , it was icy cold yet it felt familiar for some reason .As i rubbed my hands together to get slightly warmer i felt lokis hand wrap round my waist and pull me close to him ,sliding his hand down my arm and placing it in mine. This is what was familiar ,lokis coldness matched the temperature of jotunheims almost spot on .Strange .

" we shouldn't be here " said hogan.

i looked over at loki that looked slightly scared of where we were . "hey , we will be alright ,okay ?" i softly told him .

" i know we will be, its just there is something so familiar-"

"Lets move." Thor declared , cutting out loki mid-sentence .

"What were doing to say darling ?" i asked loki calmly .

"nothing . it doesn't matter " he replied giving me a hug as if to say im okay ,when in reality hes not . I can tell something is wrong with him he is acting all jittery .I am tempted to read his mind but i dont want to intrude on something if there generally is something wrong, i want him to tell me himself .

we all walked further in and i began creating some torches with my magic , it glowed red and they floated around the group as we moved along .

"you've come along way to die ,asgardians " laufey hissed .

" I am Thor odinson " thor confidently announced .

" and i am princess of asgard , y/n y/l/n" i said ,letting go of lokis hand and stepping forward to stand next to Thor .

"we know who you are " laufey chillingly responded .

"How did your people get into asgard ?" questioned thor .

"The house of Odin is full of traitors "

"DO NOT DISHONOR MY FATHERS NAME WITH YOUR LIES" thor growled getting his hammer out ready as if to fight .

" you long for battle .you crave it . your nothing but a boy trying to prove himself a man" spoke laufey as his men began to circle us from above .I watched as they moved closer and i felt my powers grow in my hands .

" we will accept your most gracious offer " loki said pulling thor away from laufey so we could leave .

" run back home little princess " laufey whispered loud enough for thor ,loki and i to hear .

"oh god" loki and i said as mjolnir flew past us and knocked out laufey .

instantly frost giants came from every corner to fight us , my hands grew red as i started making balls of hot energy to throw at them . i looked over at the others who all pulled out their weapons .

"let the fight commence " i laughed to myself ,grabbing 3 frost giant with my telekinesis and sweeping them to them left knocking out 5 more frost giants . one more came at me from behind and i create a sword completely made of energy that glowed a dark red with streaks of purple , and stabbed them in the chest .

i tapped my head . "havent even broken a sweat huh " i mumbled .

" neither " i heard loki laugh as he tricked a frost giant with his shape shifting then stabbed him.

"At least make it a challenge for me !" thor told laufey who released 5 more frost giants to get thor . i watched him as he fought them until one knocked him out, i began to feel my powers growing at the sight of him being hurt but i watched him get back up slowly laughing .

"dont let them touch you!" screamed volstagg .

I quickly ran over to him to help him ,i placed a clear bubble around us to stop the frost giants from getting in ,and began to heal his arm - ive never actually done this before i just felt like i could it . I placed my hand on his arm and orange energy wrapped him arm. suddenly the icy blue color dissolved and turned to his usual color .

" princess ,your eyes " he said pointing to the water to look at my reflection .

I looked down to see what he was on about .My eyes were burning red and i screamed at seeing this .

" I- I - i dont understand why they are doing that " i said confused blinking multiple time to see if it would go away .

"theres no time to think about your eyes ,the frost giants are closing in " he said pointing at the ten frost giants that were trying to break into the bubble .Using my powers i created a wave out of the ground that sent the frost giants falling over .

" quick you must leave ill fend for myself " i ordered volstagg , as i was pushing him out the bubble.

"Where has all this power come from y/n ?" he questioned .

" im not sure . its all new to me "

" But you must go now " i said shooing him off till i was on my own in the bubble .

I watched loki fight bravely until i saw a frost giant grab him . I felt my hands grow strong with energy and the once red eyes turned a deep purple .The bubble that was over me smashed into shards that flew into the frost giants that surrounded me killing them instantly . And i ran towards loki . I used my telekinesis to send the frost giant he was fighting flying and created a purple bubble around us not a red one like before ,which was strange .

"Loki are you okay ? do you need any help?" i asked him quickly grabbing his arm to look at the injury .He stood silent looking down at his arm and so did i . His arm stayed blue but not like an icy blue. his arm was the identical color to the frost giants .

"What does this mean ?" i questioned , i didnt know whether to confused or scared .

"im not sure " he whispered watching arm go back to his normal color .

I destroyed the bubble which killed a few frost giants but it wasnt strong enough , fandral was impaled by ice and i heard sif scream at thor .I ran over to them all and placed my hand over the wound , orange energy seeped out of my hands and covered the wound .

"It wont last long .we have to get out of here " i said ,looking over at loki and tilting my head towards thor so he can go and get him .

" How did she do that ?" sif asked volstagg .

" im not sure but where ever its from its advantageous right now ." he responded .

" WE MUST LEAVE NOW " loki screamed at thor .

Ignoring him Thor released his hammer which flew through around 10 frost giants .Out of no where the ground began to shake and the frost beast was released .

" Shit " i cursed .

"RUN " screeched volstagg.
