Honestly he's just SO CUTE AND HE'S SO DETERMINED TO BEAT US AND HE HAS AN ACTUAL PERSONALITY BESIDES "wowie pokemon and friendship" unlike SOME rivals *cough* Pokémon X and Y *cough*

I went to route 104 and found a Wurmple. Since I already have one, I'm allowed to run away and find a new Pokémon

My next encounter was a Zigzagoon, which I also have...
Then I found a Taillow, which I caught and named Arlo. Here's the team so far-

Then I battled rich boi Winston, who flexed his full restore, but still lost :)
Hitoka went up 2 levels and learned Confusion!
I went to Petalburg forest, met some trainers and met a scientist who wanted some shrooms. Then a pirate came up and threw his dog at me.
After that, the shrooms guy gave me his Exp. Share, thank god.
I encountered a Shroomish that Hitoka paralyzed with her synchronize ability, which made it easier to catch and name Celery :)
I kept going until Rustboro City, and that's where I'll stop for now
