That night(8:00 pm)
Lyndy it's time for bed sweetie " said Amy.
"I want Daddy to read me my story tonight" said lyndy.
"I can handle that " said Ty smiling.
Half an hour later .
Amy stood in the driveway of lyndy's room.
"How many books?" She Asked smiling.
"2 and extra cuddles " said Ty smiling.
" you are such a marshmallow" said Amy.
" well this marshmallow has a lot of catching up to do I left and I will never forgive myself for that" said Ty regretfully ..
Amy walked over to the rocking chair where Ty was sitting still holding lyndy .
She then kissed his head.
" you came back and came home and that's what matters don't know how long you were gone " she said softly.
" thank you" said Ty Softly.
" don't mention it but it's my turn for cuddles" said Amy smiling.
" we can certainly make that happen" said Ty smiling.
3 hours later (11:30 p.m.)
Amy and Ty were just getting into bed when they heard a loud bang then a blood-curdling scream.
Amy ran out of the room as fast as she could with Ty close behind
"OH MY GOD LYNDY!" Amy yelled panicked when she saw lyndy laying on the floor with the free standing coat rack Lisa had bought that day on top of her and blood streaming down her face.
" you're okay you're okay" said Amy trying to comfort a screaming lyndy.
Ty pulled the coat rack off of her then saw a massive gosh in her forehead
He quickly ran to the kitchen, grab the towel and pressed it against lyndy's head.
"Ow Daddy stop it that hurts" said lyndy through tears.
" I know but I have to do it" said Ty.
" does anywhere else hurt?" Asked Amy.
Lyndy pointed to her stomach.
lifted lyndy's shirt to reveal a huge red mark covering her stomach and part of her back.
" it's okay it's just going to be a really big bruise said Amy.
"What happened?" Asked Ty softly.
"I miss you Daddy " said lyndy sadly.
"But I'm right here baby " said Ty confused.
"Were you trying to get Daddy's jacket down?" Asked Amy .
"Why didn't you just come cuddle?" Asked Ty.
"Because mommy said I have to be a big girl and sleep in my own bed so no more cuddles" said lyndy sadly.
" well sometimes mommy is wrong " said Ty..
That's when they heard a familiar but groggy voice behind them.
Amy turned around to see Luke who is the head taken back Heartland with them earlier that day.
" is she okay? I heard screaming" he said.
" Luke I need you to go back too bad lyndy is going to be fine but Amy and I need to take her to the hospital" said Ty.
" okay" said Luke heading back to his room.
"No I don't want to go to the hospital" said lyndy through tears .
"We have to baby girl " said Amy before picking lyndy carrying her to the truck.
Ty grabbed the keys and followed her out.
