Renneisme's POV

EVERY day, I'm always told to cherish every moment I spend in school. They say it's quite short and fleeting that you will be surprised one day that it's already finished. They say it's a one-time opportunity and that you must at least appreciate the fact that you are experiencing something that many would kill for. They say it's a precious memory that you'd be smiling on decades from now, and that's why you have to make sure to do whatever you please.

I disappointingly sighed as the sky remains to be painted in shades of blue even when my sight adjusts to the fair warm rays of the sun. "You should've at least turned purplish-pink today," I told the sky as if it could comprehend mortal expression, as if it can actually hear, as if it has consciousness.

It would've been a little interesting to feel something different today. When Fiacre and I first came in, mocking those student leaders was fun, but now it's not even sufficient to make me smile. When those students were once oblivious of what we can do, it was enjoyable, but now it bores me to death when I only see the fear in their eyes.

"Ano kayang pwedeng gawin?"

As I was about to clench it into a fist, as if I really am grasping the skies, a large but soft hand intertwined with it.

"You would have hurt your pretty head, Miss Renneisme," he playfully mocked with a chuckle ending his sentence. At the same time, I grimaced over the short panic he gave me. But then I remembered, being seen as pissed off would only reward him rather than intimidate him.

Though it somehow occurred to me already on who he is, the quick transition of events caused me to even call his name that is as filthy as his record with women. Sighing for another time as he carefully allows me to slump back at the floor, his tall stature that blocked the sun regressed. Lowering his body with his now folded knees, I finally got to see his face clearly, and so is his mischievous grin.
