Everyone was dead. The Hunters were gone, and the Arachnids had killed everyone else. Arachna would not be happy when they report back. A horn rang out from around the mountains. Then another. And another. They were surrounded. A figure appeared in the center of the group and began stabbing people. Arachnids shot. This figure somehow dodged every arrow, not even getting scratched. One man leapt at this hunter, but he disappeared, leaving only a patch of fire around where he stood. "How... we need those hunters. And we need them now!"

In the distance, the steady beat of a drum pounded on towards the confused Arachnids. A group split off from the main Scorpid army and went round to flank. They lived here so of course they knew their way around these mountains. The call to ready the charge went up on both sides, but before the Scorpids could charge the caller was stabbed and killed. The Arachnids charged into the waiting Scorpids, none of whom knew their caller was dead. As they clashed the Scorpid army began to rout, closely followed by a gang of Hunters aiming for a group of kills.
