Jimin sat under the shade, under an oak tree, flipping through the pages of his history book. Both fascinated but bored with it. It was interesting, in his opinion, but he much rather do something else. After all his classes, all that he had done was study. Study, study, study.

He sighed deeply as he shut the book, no longer even wanting to look at it. "This is ridiculous." He said under his breath, falling back into the grass and shutting his eyes. He let the gentle wind hit his face as he peacefully took a break from studying.

"I want to run away… some place far, far away." Jimin said. After a moment of silence, he chuckled, shaking his head. "But no.."

"Why not?"

Jimin's eyes popped open, and he sat up. "Kim. What are you…?" Taehyung stood by the back-hair, leaning against the oak tree with an apple in his hand. He already took several bites out of it. Jimin wondered if he had eaten the apple while he was near him. Perhaps he was too deep in thought to even hear him come.

Taehyung grinned at the boy looking up at him with a puzzled expression. "I was just passing by, and I saw you lying down."

Jimin brushed grass off his hair. "I see… I was only taking a break."

"And talking to yourself." Taehyung added.

Jimin raised a brow. "Yes… and talking to myself. And also thinking… and something very common: breathing." The black-hair grabbed his things, shoving them into his bag, then stood. "Good day, Kim Taehyung." He said to the boy biting into the apple, then walked away.

"Hey, if you aren't studying anymore, there's something I'd like to show you!"

"And what is that? Your coin collection?" Jimin said, chuckling. Taehyung smiled lovingly at Jimin before sprinting up to him.

"No. It's much more exciting than that. Promise." Taehyung took out his pinky. Jimin stared at it for an instant before snorting.

"What is that?"

The taller male grinned. "My pinky."

"Yes, but are you a child? Pinky swears?" Jimin giggled, his hand covering his smile as he turned away from the other boy. He often hid his smile, afraid it wasn't pretty or attractive. But to Taehyung, it was simply adorable and he wanted to see more. Hear more of his laughs.

"I am a child." Taehyung said, wiggling his eyebrows. "I am still in school, Park. Let us be normal kids for one day. What do you say?"

Jimin looked at Taehyung, seeing his eyes sparkle. "Normal kids? Are we not normal?" He asked.

"No. You are too serious, and I am too nice. People may say we are opposites."

Jimin frowned. "I am not too serious." He argued with a little cute pout. "Fine. Let us be children, Kim. In return, you will not complain to what I am about to do."

"Alright! … wait, wha-"

The shorter male opened his water bottle and spilled the water over Taehyung's head. "That is for calling me too serious." Jimin said with a mischievous smirk.

Taehyung was shocked for a moment, before he gasped and looked at the black-haired. "Ohh… you're gonna get it now, Park Jimin." He smirked, before grabbing Jimin's bag and running away with it.

"Ah! My bag!" Jimin watched as the boy laughed and ran away. "Come back here, Kim Taehyung!" He ran after him. He followed the playful boy to the gardens, where other students stared with raised eyebrows as Jimin tried to take his bag back from Taehyung.
