14. Valentine's preparations

Next day they all met in Siddharth's cabin for valentine's day preparation.

Anushka: so Jannat what's the plan??

Jannat (excitedly): plan tum sabko 14th ko hi pata chalega....
Jannat said excitedly.

Everyone: WHatt?!?!?!?!?

Jannat: ha yaarr otherwise u will prepare for it... and I want it to be a surprise test.
Jannat winked at others. 

Riyaz: par syllabus toh batado....
And everyone laughed.

Jannat: syllabus mein ek hi chapter hai love...
Jannat winked.

Reem: but tumhe toh pata hai konse questions aane wale hai... tum toh top karogi na...
Reem said raising her eyebrows.

Jannat: kisne kaha I m appearing for the test???...... I m the supervisor
Jannat grined.

Jai : ohk ohkk so basically hume kya karna hai wohh batao...

Jannat: yeah soo..... aap logon ko taiyar ho k venue par aana hai pairs mein .... 

Avneet: to to mein pehle se hi disqualify ho gayii
Avneet said making sad face.

Sid: mein bhii..

Anushka: do log ek saath akele kese ho sakte hai???
Anushka said winking.

Avneet: what do u mean ??
Avneet asked suspiciously.

Jannat: aree tum dono pair ban jao yaarr..

Riyaz: haa vese bhi tum dono ek dusre ko humse jyada jante ho in fact u have more chances to top the test.

Avneet: hmmm
Avneet looked towards Siddharth with raised eyebrows. Siddharth blinked in agreement.

Jannat: ohkkk then... ho gaya sab set...

Reem: Jaan please give us some imp questions na...... pieezzz kyuki agar hum fail hogaye tohhhh.
Reem said making cute puppy face. Jannat rolled her eyes.

Jannat: ha ohkkk.... So basically it will be based upon how much u know your partner vagera vagera..... bas now no more hints..

Jannat said leaving the cabin.

Jai: ohk then chalo ab hum sab bhi nikalte haii..

Everyone left.

As Avneet was leaving Sid called out

Sid: Avneet... wait I wanted to talk about something.

Avneet: haan bolo, kya hau??

Sid: u sure ???...... about this valentine day thing?

Avneet: mein toh sure hi hoon and if u r not then u should have said then and there... look Siddharth I don't know if u remember or not but I always want to win be it a game or any competition and agar mere chance nahi hote then mein participate hi nahi karti.... I know u r not comfortable... its ok I will talk with everyone.. don't worry... u don't need to do any of these...

Sid: aree sun toh le yaar.. I was just asking uhhh and haa I also want to win... real life mein na sahi but we can become frnds for this game right??.... bcoz all we both want is to win so......

Avneet: yeahh...

Avneet smiled. Siddharth smiled back.

Avneet: chalo I will make a move then...
Avneet said moving towards the exit.

Sid: haa but what about revision and preparations???
Avneet: matalb??
Avneet asked turning back.

Sid: areee iss test k liye preparation karni padegi naaaa
Siddharth said winking.

Avneet chuckled and said.
Avneet: yeah suree... bolo kab karni hai as today is 12th we have 1 and a half day.. 

Sid: kal kare so aaj kar aaj kare so ab
Siddharth said and smiled.

Avneet: ohk then mein thoda kaam hai khatam karke tumhe bulati hoon lets go somewhere because agar kisiko humari preparation ke baare mein pata chal gaya toh woh cheating kar lenge.
Avneet said making a cute face seeing which Siddharth laughed.

Sid: kk chal call me once u finish 

Avneet: yeah
Avneet left.

Sid (thought): She is not changed a bit.

After some time, the phone on Siddharth's desk rang. Helooked towards Avneet from his cabin and picked up the phone.

Avneet: han bolo ab kaha jana hai??
Avneet said looking directly in Siddharth's eyes.

Sid: esi kisi jagah where I can eat something
Avneet laughed.

Avneet: ohk lets go to the café then.....
Avneet suggested.

Sid: yeah chalo...
Siddharth said putting the receiver down.

They both went to the café where they used to hang out 3 years back. They boththen went back and sat to their table. All the memories came back rushing down the road but both if them shrugged it away.

After absorbing everything, they settled down.

Avneet: so batao kya preparations karni hai??
Sid: areee pehle café mein aayi ho kuch khane do coffee pine do.... Aate hi directlykaam ki baat
Siddharth said shaking his head, then he looked towards theceiling and said,
Sid: heyy bhaghawan, iss ladki ka kya hogaa... pura din kaam kaamkaam karti rehti hai her life is sooooooo boring.
Avneet rolled her eyes and murmured, "nautanki" but Sid heard it.

Sid: i heard it

Avneet: Good that you did... it was for you only...

Sid: hawwww so you are trying to say that me hamesha drama karta hoon.
He widden his eyes dramatically.

Avneet: No siddharth...

Sid: thank god
Wiping his fake tears.

Avneet: I was not trying to say I know tum drama karte ho....
Avneet gave him a sugar coated smile.

Siddharth pouted.
Sid: you are mean.....

Avneet: shut up.. i know life boring hai tumhe batane kijarurat nahi hai...

Sid: Arehh.... Tension nai lene ka mein hoon na..
Siddharth said pulling her noseand winking.

Avneet: yeah whatever..
Avneet laughed while Sid sat there admiring her.

Avneet: chalo then let's order something....

Sid: Haan chalo chalo........
