I sit there with kie talking for a few moments , clearing some things up with her about rafe and the group. "soooo whats up with you and boner boy over there" she smirks looking over to the boy

"ughh dont get me started-" i groan before getting interrupted by non other than pope. "shit JJ" he alerts us as we here sirens in the distance

"guys thats the police" jj turns back and looks at the incoming boat, i stand up and look into the distance. "oh you gotta be kidding me" pope whines,

"yep, thats the police" jay once again reminds us, i look at him while making my way over to the wheel leaning on it slightly "yeah thanks for stating the obvious" i laugh as the blonde gives me a glare.

"just act frickin' normal" kie flips her hair over her shoulder trying to look relaxed, i raise my eyebrows at her "cause that is totally normal" she quickly flips me off smiling before getting back into position.

The siren once again goes off before pulling up next to us.

"evening officers" pope greets them, "evening" shoupe replies while the other officer hands pope the rope "JJ tie this off" he orders the blonde

After the rope had been tied onto ours making their boat stable like ours.

"how you kids doing?" he questions before looking over to me "Miss Reid" he nods, I forgot to mention my dad was a cop so I was well known around the station and to the cops. I gesture a small wave at the officer. "you know the marsh is closed?" he asks us

"no" jj replies. "no, wow" pope stutters. i give him a glare to shut the hell up, "we didnt know" the blonde shrugs, i nudge him slightly. Omg these boys cant lie for shit, before any of them can say something again i speak up

"sorry shoupe, may i ask why is it closed" i ask politely, he looks over to me and then the rest of them before answering

"well, we're conducting a search out here. boat went down" he replies, the boys reply with a small 'oh' "seen anything?" he asks

"no we haven't seen any boats" I say shaking my head slightly in denial. He nods, pope turns his head away from the officer which is not helping, actually its making us look more suspicious.

I lean into the blonde chest while he wraps his arms around me one on my shoulder the other round my waist.

"Where's your friend you always hang with? He here?" he asks, the blonde shakes his head not knowing what to say, i see him look over to pope who is clueless

"He's working" kie speaks up for the first time today, the officers look at her and I can tell their not convinced

Shoupe steps up on the edge of his boat "I'm gonna check your little boat out" he jumps down into our boat looking around

"yeah, hop aboard, you wanna check-uh, check her out" pope stutters while moving out of the way, standing opposite me and jj, who still has one arm around my shoulder

"Uh... you got another one of these " shoupe asks holding up a life jacket, "yeah" the blonde replies "of course its uh... its in the hold" jj finishes pointing

"show him" kie stands up making her way over to me, while jj opens the hold to show the lifejacket "yeah, here we go"

"all right" shoupe then looks over to me and kie, I kind of start to get uncomfortable with him looking at us since I'm not wearing a shirt, I smile and look away into the water before looking back

JJ must have noticed this, he looks over to me placing a hand on my shoulder pulling me into his chest to cover me up. "thank you" I whisper into his chest, he places a kiss on the top of my head before resting his head on top of mine.
