I washed Layla's hair and was now conditioning it and oiling it while it was still wet I braid it down so it could air dry and wrap her hair up

We played games and grabbed food and I was missing Dave so much we haven't talked since last night when he left out

I was currently laying down with Layla sick we haven't talked to Dave all day and we both in our feelings I called but she insisted that she call off her Ipad

Layla- mommy he didn't answer

Me-I know Lay he must be busy

Layla- but he always answers

Me- Dad working Lay when he free he will call

I was telling myself the same thing

Dave gave Layla her promise ring yesterday when he took us out she was crying I'm so happy he thinks about Layla getting her a promise ring too I was not expecting that but he committed to her just like he committed to me and I love it

Ally came over because she had some stuff for Layla that she and Jay got

We hugged and she showed Layla all her stuff

Layla- thank you God mom

Ally- what's wrong

Me- we haven't talked to him today and we both in our feels about it

Ally- he probably tied up he calls y'all every chance he gets

Me- I know that's why I'm trying not to worry

We opened the wine and start drinking

I was telling Ally about him asking me to be his girlfriend and giving Layla a ring too

Me- that's cause Dave told me to put it on that one so when he replaces it with my engagement ring then I can switch it to the other hand

My mind went back to Dave he better be okay ughhh

Ally- it comes with being with a street dude it's hard
