Chapter 1

"Karesinda Cassette?"

"Here."

"Aman Balthazar?"

"Present."

"Esperenza Day?"

"Here."

"Cayden Cadmen?"

"Here."

"Why can't you be normal for once and say here like the rest of us?", I turned around and asked Aman with a sly grin.

"Because, I'm not normal. So why act normal?" he replied, sticking his tongue out at me.

          I threw my pencil at him and smiled.

"Thank you for my new pencil."

          I flicked him off and turned back around to face the sub.

"Your teacher left this packet for you all to do..." the sub began.

          I'm not sure what else she said because I was knocked out by the time she finished that sentence.        

"You wanna go to Lakuna Cafe after school?" Aman asked as we were walking to our 8th period, with his hand around my waist.

"Sure." I replied.

          When we walked into our 8th period Geometry class, the desks were all rearranged and there was a new seating chart on the board. Mrs. Sconson moved me to the front of the class, right by her desk. Luckily, she still had Aman sitting behind me and Esperenza to my right.

          Esperenza has been my bestfriend for the past 10 years. We've been through everything together. The 8th grade dance, Junior prom, and we even transformed at the age of 8 together. She's 5'8, blonde, blue eyes. You're typical high schooler. Unlike her, my transformation didn't leave me as normal. My hair is such a platinum blonde, that it's almost white. Most of the time, I keep it dyed a brown or dark red to make me look more normal. My eyes are a blue grey and my height of 5'9 doesn't help my innormality at all.

          As for my boyfriend. He's a dios vamprio, vampire god. He's 6'0 feet tall, brown hair, has a muscular build, and green eyes. Exactly, body of a god.
