Awoken from another night terror, aware of his surroundings but unable to move, Daniel was not surprised in the slightest. He was scared, yes, but he was calming down rapidly once he realised he was awake and in his own home. As his cold sweat came to pass, he realised he was able to move his arm, and so he ran his hand over his face and his fingers through his mid length brown hair. Eventually he was able to convince himself to sit up, before finally making an attempt at getting out of bed and standing on his own two feet.

After a while, he threw on some smart-casual clothes and left to attend college. It was a tedious day of lectures and being told he could do better. He knew he could do better, but he simply wasn't interested in the course anymore. His afternoons after college were a daily routine of getting changed, taking his dog for a run and a play and then playing video games.

Finally came the night time. He slipped out of his blue skinny jeans, took his band t-shirt off and decided to get an early night. That is when the darkest recesses of his mind begin to feed off of his innermost fears.
