Katherine was working at her father's old clinic working the desk when her phone started ringing. She picked it up seeing that it was Hayley who was calling she answered putting it to her ear not surprised that she was calling her. "Yes Hales I'm working."

"You're always busy." She knew Isobel always had the girls doing different things for her instead of doing it themselves. Which was irritating because they deserved to live their lives too. "I was going to ask if you wanted to hang out with us tonight."

"Us who?" She wanted to know who Hayley wanted to hang out with because there were certain people she didn't like.

"I don't want Elijah to feel like a third wheel." So she was inviting her best friend so they could all have fun.

Katherine guessed that wasn't to bad she didn't mind Elijah he wasn't the worst person in the world at least compared to the people she used to spend her time with. "Sure but you have to pick me up I'll sneak out."

Hayley smirked she loved it when she got her best friend to do thing she wasn't supposed to. "Ok, you can stay at my place tonight and we can sneak you back in tomorrow morning."

"ok see you later."

"See you."

Elena and Josie were sitting on her bed working on homework. When Josie looked over to her sister she was excited for the dance and she wondered how her sister felt about it. "So you excited for the dance."

"I am." She wasn't as excited as she could be but she was happy about it coming up. "How about you?"

"I'm excited that i get to DJ and crowd watch." She liked watching other people she was into guys and girls after all. And she was happy she was in charge of music she was going to make it a night to remember.

Elena rolled her eyes shaking her head she couldn't wait for her little sister to get a girlfriend. Even if she knew she was into guys to she knew it was going to be a girl. "Trying to find a girl you like?"

"Or a guy I don't discriminate." She didn't care if it was a guy or a girl she just wanted a meaningful relationship.

"Either way I'm sure it's going to be fun." Elena knew it was sure to be a night that all of them would remember.

Josie knew this would be good for them they could really get the chance to be them. "And the best part is we can dress how we want and everyone will have on masks so no one will know who anyone is."

"I don't get how that is the best part?" She didn't get what was so exciting about the masks and no one knowing who each other were.

"It's the best part because we don't have to be us who we see every day we get to be who we truly are." This was there chance to be the people they were not the people everyone else saw them as. "Let's be honest your temper is not fun and Katherine is not all that bad but that is who we are when people are watching. And now we can be who we are when no one knows."

"You're right." Elena nodded she knew this could be fun for them this was going to be fun.

"See."

"This will be fun." Elena had to remember that this wasn't about who people thought of them as this was about them having fun.

Josie knew there was nothing that could make this moment bad they just had to remember that. "Yeah just think positive Lena what could possibly go wrong?"

Elena shot her sister a glare she didn't want her saying that because she didn't want something to happen. "Don't say that then something will go wrong and that's the last thing that any of us want."

"True." Josie knew she was right if they thought of the bad things then they would happen.

The Mikaelson family were all sitting around in the living room.

"So we have to go to this dance?" Hope wanted to ask her mother one last time because she really didn't want to go.

"Yes, you do." Esther was not giving her another option it was happening and they would enjoy it.

"Fine." Hope groaned she guessed if she didn't have a choice.

"Hope it'll be fun." Rebekah was sure it would be a night to remember for all of them.

Hope rolled her eyes looking over at her sister she wasn't sure what they thought would be fun about this. "Maybe for you because you planned it."

Rebekah scoffed she hadn't even planned it but her friend did and she knew it would be amazing because of that. "I didn't plan it Elena did."

Kol looked over to them he knew her name but he prefered not to call her it. "The hot cheerleader?"

"Yes, the hot cheerleader but she likes flaking on things last minute so their is a chance she won't even be there." She was sure Elena would come up with an excuse not to show her face or even if she came it wasn't like it was going to be easy to decipher who was who. "And even if she is everyone has to wear a mask. And didn't i tell you she had a name? And just because you heard she broke up with Stefan doesn't make it true."

"Fine let's go shopping." Since Hope no longer had a choice she figured she could dress the part.

Rebekah eyed her confused she was sure Hope would try more to get out of it. "I thought you were going to find a dress on your own."

"Do you want me to go or not?" This was literally the only way she was going so if her sister wanted her to go then she would help her find a dress.

"Of course."

Hope stood up crossing her arms over her shoulder she was a Mikaelson she was definitely dressing to impress. "Then let's go get me a dress."

"Yay." Rebekah got up taking Hope's arm and pulling her out the room. She was so excited.

"This is going to be a nightmare." Freya could already see everything going wrong.

"You got that right."

Sybil and Vikki walked into their mother's room seeing her going over work. They were curious if  she was going to let them all go to the dance. "So are you letting them go to the dance?"

Isobel looked up at them needing them to repeat themselves. "What?"

"Are you letting them go to the dance?" Vikki hoped not because she didn't want them stealing the show like they always did.

"I'm letting your sister go." She was only letting her daughters go her stepdaughters would have chores.

"Just her." If it was only Elena they could deal with that.

"Yes."

"Ok."
