Josie was in her father's clinic Sybil and Vikki were glaring at her. In the last week, things had changed. Everyone was still talking about the dance and looking for the girls. Most trying to claim the reward money they had even hung posters. But no one had come forward with any reliable information.

She called Elena's phone completly forgetting she didn't have it."I can't do this no more we should have never gone to that dance to begin with it was a horrible idea and now the whole town are looking for us. They're going to be disappointed when they find out who we are."

"Who are you?"She recongnized that voice.

Josie was a bit confused she had sworn she had called her sister. "Who is this i was-"

"Hope Mikaelson i was trying to break into this phone for my brother who is this?" She knew the voice she had danced with this girl that night. It was who she was looking for.

Josie hung up and dialed her sister's number she knew that she was in trouble. "I forgot she didn't have her phone and i called it and Hope recognized my voice."

"Jo-Jo." Katherine scolded. She knew they were trying to stay off the radar about who they were and that wasn't going to help.

"I'm sorry," Josie sighed she hadn't meant to but the stress was getting to her and it wasn't easy.

"I'm going to let Elena know she needs to be prepared for this." Katherine said. She knew they were going to all need to stay on the same level when it came to what was going on.

"Alright."

Hope went downstairs seeing her siblings sitting at the island talking to their mother. "Someone called her phone."

Kol turned to look at his little sister. He had been wondering when it was finally going to ring. "What?"

"Yeah someone called. " Hope nodded she wished that she had waited she hated that she had spoke to soon.

"What did it say?" Kol asked. He hoped that it was a name that could lead them to someone who knew who it was.

"The caller ID said JO it was the girl i danced with. I recognize her voice but i can't pin it." She knew that she had heard the voice from somewhere but she couldn't remember exactly where.

"And what did she say?" Kol asked. If she called it was for a reason she ought to know that her friend lost her phone. And wouldn't be the one to answer.

"I can't do this anymore we should have never gone to begin with horrible idea whole town is looking for us. And there going to be disappointed when they find out who we are." Hope recited.

"She sounds like Elena." Kol groaned. He remembered her speech about how they couldn't be disappointed and that they were basically protecting themselves.

"Elena knows after all." Hope reminded. She was sure whoever Jo was she told Elena that and now Elena was only relaying it.

"She said something similar she was protecting them." Elijah remembered it Elena was doing everything she could to keep them from figuring it out.

"I don't know what to do." Hope groaned. She had never been stuck on anyone but this girl was something else entirely.

"I will do whatever i can to find them for you" Esther promised. She had never seen her children like this before so she would do whatever she had to.

Couple days later

Hope walked into the kitchen to see Elijah and Kol sitting there with Mg. Hope was sure after a few more days her brother would have returned to his old ways.  "So you're done stalking the cheerleader."

"I've been done." Kol growled. He hated that his sister was acting like he was the only one who had thought of someone else before the dance.

"Hard to tell." Hope teased. She knew that her siblings could tell she definitely had a favorite brother and it wasn't her twin. No matter how many times her and Kol bumped heads working together worked best for them.

"Aren't you the one that said the girl in the maid outfit was cute?" Kol smirked. He remembered that conversation where she said not even that girl would make her let Isobel help with the mural.

"Who Josie?" Mg asked. He knew he had been with her when she had bumped into her.

Hope looked over to her best friend curious to the fact he knew who they were talking about. "You know her?"

Mg nodded he was dating Josie's best friend so he was on OK terms with her to say the least. "Yeah, she's Lizzie's best friend. She's in the music department. The two are always together otherwise. But Jo has two older sisters she's always walking around school listening to music but Lizzie said she borrowed it and then lost it."

That part caught her attention. Usually, when he got to talking about his girlfriend she would tune him out but the MP3 player and the nickname piqued her interest. "Wait she lost her mp3 player."

"Lizzie said she lost is but they don't listen to the same music." Mg was sure that she was lying but he didn't feel like asking why. Especially since it was only an MP3 player.

"Did you call her Jo?" Hope asked. She wanted to make sure that she was right before she did anything

"Yeah why?" He asked confused.

"It was her." Hope gasped. She was very thankful for her best friend.

"Well she was your type." Kol smirked. He was happy his little sister found her now he just wanted to find his gierl.

"She was there with the girls. She called the phone cause it was her." Now it made sense why she was tense when they were talking about it and dodging questions.

"What are you three talking about?" Mg asked confused.

"Thank you so much best friend i will never say anything bad about you and Lizzie again." Hope promised. He had just helped her solve her biggest problem.

"I'm so confused."

"It was Josie she danced with Josie. Her name in this phone is Jo she called saying she wished they never went she couldn't do this."

"Oh."

"She's in the music department she was the one picked to be Dj." Hope smiled before running up to her room to devise a plan.
