I took a deep breath before opening the stage door. I walked through and saw Elena talking to Phil. They saw me and Phil walked up, hand extended. "I'm so happy to meet you, I've read your book and I've got the second one preordered already."

"Thank you." A smile covered my face. "That means a lot."

Elena walked up between us. "You guys ready?" I nodded and she walked me over to my chair. "Okay. He said he's got a special guest coming. It's probably a fan that you've impacted or replied to. That's the extra chair. Just stay focused on you and Phil. You're sweet, they'll love that. You've done interviews before, don't stress about it." I nodded again. "And last thing. This. Is. Real. Not a joke. Not a prank. You, your real life. You earned this, Jenna."

I inhaled. "Okay. Okay, I'm good. El, thank you. Love you a million."

Elena smiled and kissed my cheek. "You make it easy." She walked away, leaving me sitting alone as Phil spoke to someone on the crew.

He turned to me. "You ready?"

"Nope. Let's do this." I joked and he laughed.

The woman behind the camera spoke up. "And we're live in 3...2..." she stopped and held her hand up showing 1 finger and then changed it to a thumbs up.

"Good morning everyone, today I'm here with Jenna Skye, the best selling author of The Blood In My Heart and soon to be best selling author of The Air In My Lungs! How you doing tonight Jenna?" Phil turned to me.

I took a deep breath and smiled at the camera as he talked. When he turned to me I looked at him. "I'm doing good! Nervous, of course but I'm here." I let out a small laugh and some of the audience laughed too.

"And aren't we glad you are! I'm gonna start with something your agent tells me you say practically daily. You know what I'm talking about?"

I laughed again. "Yeah, I know. I just got the lecture about it again right before we started."

Phil pointed at the cameras. "You wanna tell the audience?"

"Every since this began," I explained. "I've been convinced this isn't real. You know, being a writer has always been the dream, and I never ever expected all this! So every day the wonderful Elena just kinda has to remind me this isn't a joke."

The audience laughed again and Phil did too. "Isn't she the cutest? Come on, too cute!" The audience yelled with a mix of aws and yes. "Now, I made a promise to your editor to only briefly ask about your marriage." I tensed up. "So I wanna ask and get this over with because the audience is dying to know. You're officially divorced now right?"

"I am." I stated bluntly. El promised we'd talk very little, if all, about them. "Official as of two months ago."

"And how has that been? Is he still supportive of you?"

I smiled. "Very. David has been my biggest supporter from day one, even when I told him years ago I started writing ridiculous fanfics." I giggled. "He's still my family, and I couldn't have done this without him."

Phil nodded. "So it ended on good terms?"

"Yeah," I agreed. "I mean, as good as it can, I think. Some relationships just don't work out. And we tried, definitely. But sometimes the best thing to do is focus on the good parts. David's my best friend."

"There's also another special boy in your life. Is that right?"

I nodded. "My son, Sam. He's 7."

Phil looked around. "We have a picture of him, right? Let's get the little cutie on the screen up behind us."

I turned around and there he was, a big blown up picture of my little boy, smiling. The audience erupted in awes as I smiled. "That's my baby, yeah. Isn't he so cute?"

"He is, he is. How does he feel about his famous mom?" Phil smiled at the picture behind us.

"I don't think he really understands. He's still not really getting it when I explain that my book is not a bed time story." The audience laughed and I looked at them and laughed too. I noticed a young girl waving and I waved back and mouthed "hi" at her. Her smile spread around her face and I felt my nerves really start to melt away.

"That's great, that's great. Now right after you announced that we were getting a sequel, you announced that it was already written! And the release date! Amazing, why did you decide to do that?"

Everyone got quiet for my answer. "I'm not a very patient woman, I don't want to make my fans wait any longer than I'd want to wait."

Phil laughed. "Well, we're super grateful for that, definitely. You also made another announcement last week, which everyone, including me, is thrilled about!"

I laughed. "Yeah, I've been getting a lot of comments and messages about it."

"For anyone who isn't on Twitter, Jenna here announced on the fifteen year anniversary of Captain America: The First Avenger, that her main character Matei is actually based on the one and only Sebastian Stan. Now this movie anniversary is also the first time we met Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes. And you told everyone that you based your character around Bucky, right?"

I nodded and felt myself blush. "I certainly did, yeah."

"Is there anything you'd want to say to Sebastian now?"

"Yeah, uh. Thank you for posting your bare butt on Instagram, Seb. It was really inspirational." Phil and the audience laughed. "No, really a lot of my inspiration was from the therapy scene in Falcon and The Winter Soldier, when Bucky licks his lips and kinda smirks. Matei does the same thing in the book a few times. So if you're unsure what I pictured there, that's it." I laughed.

The audience was laughing and Phil too. "Now." He waited for the audience to calm down. "We have a bit of surprise for you."

"So I've heard."

"Someone in particular wanted to tell you how they felt about Bucky being your inspiration." Phil started.

I inhaled sharply. "Oh. No..." I whispered.

"Oh yes." Phil smiled. "We have the one, the only, Sebastian Stan. Sebastian, can you come on out?"

I quickly jerked my head around to look at the stage door and sure enough, I saw him start to walk through. "Oh my god!" I jumped up, my hands covering my face as I continued saying "no way, no way!" Over and over. Sebastian started walking and I ran behind Phil. "Oh my god. This is so embarrassing! Oh my god." Phil laughed and stood up, pulling me next to him.

Sebastian was laughing as he walked forward and shook Phil's hand. He turned to me and held his arms out for a hug. I leaned in and hugged him. "This is insane!" I practically yelled in his ear. Sebastian laughed again.

"Come on, let's sit." He took my hand and we walked over to our chairs. He sat facing Phil and I was turned completely looking at him.

"Jenna? You okay there?" Phil asked.

I laughed. "Are you joking me? This isn't real, this is a joke, right?"

Sebastian laughed. "Nope. This is very real."

"Oh my god." I breathed out. "Okay. I'm cool, I'm fine. Totally chill. Nice to meet you, Sebastian Stan." My voice went up a bit as I said his name which caused everyone to laugh again.

"Now," Phil started. "Sebastian. I heard you have some things you'd like to say to Jenna here?"
