Osiris (Oz)
I had just finished up my shower and hygiene routine. I was definitely finna take Boop out today, I wasn't gon waste no time. I left out my room with all my necessities, locking my door. I knocked on her door and after a minute it swung open.
"Damn, you ain't up yet?" I let out a low laugh. She came to the door in a silk pink robe and a durag on her head.
"It's eleven in the fucking morning." She rolled her eyes and moved out the way to let me in. She closed the door behind me. "What you want?"
"I promise you that date, shawty. We going out today."
"Today?" She scrunched her face up. "How you know I ain't got nothing planned?"
"Clear your schedule for me." I let out a small smile. She scoffed and walk into a room coming out with her daughter.
"If my mother agrees to babysit, I'll go." She sighed as she walked to her kitchen to get a bottle started. I sat down on a bar stool and watched her.
"You look pretty in the morning..." I watched her turn around and mug me.
"Boy, stop playing." She finished up the bottle and fed her daughter.
"What's her name?" Rylo told me her name once but I definitely forgot.
"Salana."
"Damn, that's pretty as hell." I smiled. "What's your name?"
"Boop." She mugged causing me to laugh.
"What's your real name?"
"Boop." She rolled her eyes and walked off to sit on the couch. I turned my position in the chair to her.
"I'll tell you my real name if it makes you feel better..." I offered.
"Gon head, don't mean Ima tell you my name though."
"You so damn mean." I mugged her. "My real name Osiris."
"That's Egyptian?" She looked up at me. I was glad I finally got her attention.
"Yeah, God of the dead." I laughed. "Along with a bunch of other things."
"I like that." She smiled and it quickly faded. "My real names Bavana."
"Bavana and Salana...where that come from?"
"I'm Ethiopian...Bavana and Salana are Ethiopian names."
"I like it...it's different compared to these Keisha's Tasha's Mariah's." I laughed which made her laugh a little. "See, why can't you be like that? I like when you laugh."
"Stop flirting." She rolled her eyes and grabbed her phone. After a couple minutes she smiled and looked up at me. "My ma said she'll watch Salana."
I was lowkey happy as hell but I ain't need her to see that shit yet. She wanna be stubborn so when she start feeling me Ima be the same damn way.
"Alright bet, I'll take you over there and we can go from there."
"Mmm, I don't know if I want you to know where my mother lives...you're dangerous."
