Only time can tell

chapter 3

A few minutes of scrolling I notice a new name in the group members. Luna huuhh that must be her name it has been a while and I just learned her name huh😅 but I wasn't so sure if it was so I don't want to assume. So I thought I would make sure if we meet at the event....

A few days later I was at class when I got a message from the dance group I forgot to mute my notifications so I was caught and got punish to go outside the room I was so embrasses there were a lot of teachers passing by at some of students from the other classes laughing at me. But I didn't care that much since nobody was close to me anyway and I never cared aboht other peoples thoughts about me so I finally readed the message and it was a public event at the basketball court of malabon I thought to myself maybe she will be there. I still didn't want to say luna for I was still not sure if it was her name...

A few hours later
I just got home and my family were gone and there was noone home and there was a letter at the table saying "Hey son sorry we left for shopping please be so kind to stay at home and wait for your dad thank you" so great I'm stuck at home and kinda worried if I can still make it to the event so I waited and waited.....and waitedd............

It was 6:30pm 30 minutes before the event started I was so annoyed and furious to miss a chance to see her there then my dad just got home and said

Dad: js tara bihis kana may pupuntahan tayo
Me: eee dad di ba tayo pupunta sa event
Dad: hindi may kailangan tayo bilin sa mercury drug para sa gamot ng lola mo
Me: ay ganon sige

So I miss my chance and went to the store to buy medicine I was kinda sad to miss that opportunity and I did want to dance as well for it would be I my first come back at the dance group for leaving 3 years.... we were heading back home when we stop outside the event

Me: dad bakit tayo pumunta akala ko di tayo pupunta sa event
Dad: dadaan lang tayo may kailangan ako kausap saglit sa kamember natin sa event

I was so shock that I could visit for a second so I headed inside first leaving my dad to park the bike.. when I got to the event the dancers just finish and I was looking at them one by one exiting the stage. I couldn't find her I was disappointed so I just visited the dancers and greeted them but I was surprise to see her at the end they were wearing white dress at a navy blue vest  I first talked to my friends then I notice her beside alone... I stand there and build some courage and walk towards her and say "hi nice to meet you and welcome to the dance family" i reach out my hand and  gave a handshake she replied "thank you" in that moment it felt like my world just stop and I was so happy I don't know if I was smilling but I just felt happy. I was about to ask her name when my dad called me so I just said goodbye and walked away i was too happy that I didn't notice to ask her name I just regretted when I got back home but I said "someday I will know your name" and then I close my eyes and sleep
