Forgetting

"What in the hell were you three thinking?" Noah asked walking over to us as Stiles got his arm braces
"We we're just trying to help" Scott chuckled
"Why don't thou try and help me understand....what the hell happened here?" the man whispers
"Right, well, we were trying to gently persuade him to pull over..." stiles replied
"Yeah" Scott nodded

"He was getting away?" I tried
"He got away" the man sighed
"Right, because obviously he's some sort of criminal mastermind, Dad." stiles said
"Uh-huh. You want to guess what the stolen merchandise is? Hmm?" Sheriff asked us opening the back of a van
I sighed awkwardly
"Critical life-saving medical equipment?" Stiles asked
"No"
"Poison gas?" He tried
"Nope"
"Filled with drugs?" He tried again
"Helium." The man said unamused
"Helium?" Stiles asked

"This could be a good thing" Scott said as we drove home
"That we saved helium?" Stiles asked
"I mean, that..... They don't need us anymore" I sat forward my hand on my injured boyfriends shoulder
"Okay, well, they need us. They just don't know it" he scoffed
"We're all going off to college soon. So beacon hills is gonna have to survive without us." Scott said this time
"Beacon Hills will burn to the ground without us" stiles told him
"Stiles...they don't need us" I said
Stiles phone then rang "THEY NEED US!" He said excitedly showing his dads contact

I walked into the sheriff station beside my twin and boyfriend
Sheriff shut the blinds and I watched the kid in front of us
"You ready?" Scott asked the kid
And he stuck his claws into the boys neck.
"Think he'll be okay?" Stiles asked
"The kid will be fine Stiles. Scott can take his pain" I smiled at the anxious boy

"What'd you see?" Stiles asked Scott as he backed up gasping
"I saw a guy on a horse" my brother replied
"Horse?" I repeated
"He had a gun"Scott said
"Okay, a guy with a gun. That sounds like my department, not yours" sheriff told us
"What about his parents? What happened to them?" Stiles asked while I studied the kid in front of me, ive been practicing reading emotions and distinguishing which each one means and trying to place them into categories
"I dont know. That's all I remember. But... I got this feeling" Scott whispered
"What kind of feeling?" Noah asked
I turned paying attention to the emotions coming from my twin
"They're coming back. They're coming for me" the kid answered

I watched Lydia touch the broken glass, then sit in the car
"Hmm?" She said
"What?" Remus jumped up from the back
"This is a perfect shade for me. Forget the name" she said looking in the mirror
I just rolled my eyes and continued my search on the exterior of the car
"Can we please stay on topic here?" Remus asked her
"I'm not getting anything" she told him and me
I heard a coyote howl, and a certain one ran to us. Shifting and stood up, very very naked
"I don't think they're dead" Lydia gave her clothes
"They're dead. Probably torn apart. The only thing I don't get is whey there's no blood." Malia replied
"They're not dead. If they were dead, I'd sense it." Lydia stopped her
"If they were alive id smell it" malaria told her
"Yeah, I'm not getting anything either" Scott said
"There's no emotions on the car...... it's weird" I said rubbing my fingers over the metal
"Scott, what are you talking about? You were in his head for four minutes. I timed it" Stiles asked the Alpha
"Well it's not an exact science" Remus pointed out
"And he's a kid. Maybe he's too freaked out to remember" Scott added
"Why does it matter if they're dead? Dead is dead." Malia asked
"Okay, if it's just a robbery, we can't help them" stiles said
"And if it's something supernatural, your dad can't help them" I said
"It sounds like you want it t one supernatural" Lydia asked him
"It's been like three months since anything's happened." Stiles said
"Yeah, and once a week Remus here drags me out of bed like I'm some sort of supernatural metal detector" Lydia whined
"Okay, it is way more often than that. You can't tell me that you think this is just some series of impossible coincidences?" Remus defended
I just chuckled at them, and took Stiles's uninjured hand in mine
"What I'm saying is maybe that wouldn't be so bad" she said back and walked off
