Naomi looks at her arms, she freaks out for a second.
"I can't tell him that I'm taking treatment for my brain tumor!!! What excuse do I make up?!?!?! Think!!" She says in her mind.
"Tell me!! Has someone been hurting you?!"
He gets up.
"NO!!" She looks away.
"These types of marks don't just appear out nowhere!!" He grabs her arms and puts her arms in front of her face.
Naomi gets up and sighs.
"You have no right to meddle in my life. You're sleeping on the couch tonight or call your brother to pick you up." She runs up stairs.
Naomi then runs to her room and locks the door. She pulls both her sleeves off and her eyes widen.
"Could these marks actually be side effects of the treatment?!" She asks herself.
She grabs her cell phone and dials her doctor.
"Can you list me all the possible effects of chemotherapy?" She whispers.
Her doctor then tells her the entire list.
"What about bruise on your arms?" She asks.
"Bruise?!"
"I have a lot of them on my arms!"
"Come to my office at 8 am tomorrow!"
Naomi then hangs up. She then turns the lights off and heads to bed. For the entire night, she couldn't shut her eyes due to the anxiety running through her mind.
The next morning, Naomi went down stairs and she saw that Woosung wasn't there.
"Maybe his brother came to pick him up." She says.
Naomi went to visit her doctor. She knocks onto her door and the doctor tells her to come in and take a seat.
"Show me both of your arms sweetheart." She says.
Naomi takes her coat off and she puts her arms on the desk. The doctor observes her arms carefully.
"You don't mind if I draw some blood from you?" She asks.
"No I don't mind. Go ahead." She says.
After getting her blood drawn, the doctor was going to call her about her results, which would take a few days.
"I need to head to work, people will start noticing why I haven't been going and I'll definitely get fired." She says to herself.
Naomi called a taxi to pick her and take her to her workplace. Like any other day, it went normal.
"Hey Jiwoo?" Naomi saw Jiwoo talking to the receptionist.
"Where's Mrs. Kim's room?"
"It's on the second floor?"
