"And I always find, yeah, I always find somethin' wrong
You been puttin' up with my shit just way too long
I'm so gifted at findin' what I don't like the most
So I think it's time for us to have a toast. . .
Let's have a toast for the douchebags,
Let's have a toast for the assholes,
Let's have a toast for the scumbags,
Every one of them that I know
Let's have a toast for the jerkoffs,
That'll never take work off,
Baby, I got a plan. . .
Run away as fast as you can. . ."

Aubrey woke up to someone shaking his shoulder.

"Aubs. . .come on, man. Wake up." It was Ryan, he was sure.

"'M tired," he answered without opening his eyes.

"Aubrey. Do you have any idea how long you've been asleep?"

Aubrey mumbled something rude and turned onto his other side, pulling the covers over his head.

"Dunno, don' care," he said, his voice muffled.

"Thirteen hours."

Aubrey paused. "Nu-uh."

"Yeah. You went to sleep at about eight in the morning. It's nine o' clock at night, dude."

"So? Lee me alone."

Ryan huffed and yanked the covers down. Aubrey felt a chill run up his back at the loss of warmth; he was only wearing boxers.

"Mfshnuffigersah--"

"What? Aubrey, get up. Onika was here earlier but even she couldn't get you up. From sleep, I mean." Ryan chuckled a little.

"Huh?" He was awake now. He sat up with bleary eyes and he looked at Ryan, urging him to go on.

"She wanted to talk to you about something important. I forgot what, but she mentioned it when she was talking to Chubbs."

"How long ago was that?"

"Like five hours ago. I guess she got tired of waiting. When I walked in here earlier she was sleeping next to you."

Aubrey's heart damn near did a backflip. She was sleeping in my bed?

Aubrey frowned. "Huh," he said again.

"You want me to call her?" Ryan raised a dark eyebrow.

"Nah, I got it. Thanks, man."

Ryan nodded. "No problem." He walked back to the door, cast one last glance back at Aubrey (who was already eagerly reaching for his phone) and left the room, closing the door softly behind him.
