Part 3

The wedding preparations started as soon as you both agreed. You were getting ready for the family dinner. You looked at yourself in the mirror and went to the parking lot where your parents were waiting.

"You look great, y/n", your father complimented you. You smiled and got into the car. You were actually nervous. Once you reach the restaurant. Namjoon's family also reached at the time.

"What good timing?" The ladies immediately clicked each other. "Oh! I think I have seen you", you said to Jin. Jin and his wife introduced themselves. "Oh! Nice to meet you", you shook hands.

Everyone purposely left you and Namjoon behind. You both smiled at each other and he led the way. Jin tried to notice whether you both were having a conversation but both of you walked silently.

Both of you had a smile but he noticed that both of you are shy. He chuckled to himself. He is the mood maker of the family and anyone would attach to him immediately. Once everyone of you settled, they ordered the food.

"What are you having?" Jin asked you. You said pretty basic food. It's just easy to decide and you need to push yourself thinking about something fancy. The elders were talking and you were listening to them.

You answered whenever they asked you questions. Jin's wife was such a reliable person. You immediately clicked with her. Namjoon noticed that you were getting along well.

"If you want you and Namjoon can talk privately", he tried to put you together. "Uhm... Why?" you asked, nervously. "Do you have something to tell me?" you asked him.

He looked at Jin. "It's just I thought that you both would have a lot to catch up on,'' Jin said. "We were not that close back then", you giggled. "We expected some tea", Jin's wife giggled with you.

"I don't really think we had something more than solving doubts in the class", you said. Jin nudged Namjoon to join the conversation. "I guess so. You were so studious", he said.

"Then what about you?" you chuckled. "He was the teacher's pet", you said. Your parents noticed that you both were getting along well.

"As the wedding preparations are going, we need to finish the purchases soon", his mother said. "How about y/n and Namjoon choose your wedding outfits together, while we get ours ready in the meantime", Jin suggested.

"Hyung, I guess we all should go for choosing a wedding outfit", Namjoon said. "It's hard to plan and squeeze everyone's schedule. As doctors we never know when we will have to attend the patients", he said.

"Hyung, you are a child specialist. Do you really think you need to run because of an unexpected emergency or surgeries? I bet he plays with every child there and sometimes makes them cry", Namjoon said.

You were laughing while Jin's wife also couldn't deny the latter part. "We never know what kind of emergencies will come. We always need to be prepared, regardless of the department", you said.

"I am glad that someone really understands me", he dramatically sighed. "So both of you plan a timing and finish it within this weekend", his father said. You agreed to it. They were trying so hard to put you both together.

Jin gave a few tips to Namjoon. He nodded and accepted. Jin was in the cafeteria playing with a kid who was admitted in the hospital. You went to get a coffee with Mimi. "Hey y/n", he greeted you. You introduced your friend to him.

They shook their hands. "When are you going to choose the wedding dress?" he asked you. "Tomorrow", you said. "Have a good time. My brother may seem quiet but take your time and choose your favourite dress", he said.

"Don't you want someone to help?" Mimi asked you. "Actually, I was about to ask you. He said that he would be bringing his friend as well", you said. "His friend? Park Jimin?" Jin questioned you.

"Yes. Actually, we studied together. Jimin was a good friend of mine. Mimi, will you join?" you asked her. "I will", she said excitedly."Fine then. Have a good time", Jin said to you.

You thanked him and left. The next day, you got ready and Mimi picked you up. Jimin and Namjoon also reached the shop. "Hey y/n. Nice to meet you", Jimin exclaimed happily.

"Nice to meet you too, Jimin. How are you?" you asked. "I am good. I can't believe that my two friends are getting married", he laughed. "Well. It just happened", you smiled. "Let's go in", he walked in.

"He is so cute. He is single, right?" Mimi said. "I don't know if he is single but you have a boyfriend", you said. "Right! I know that", she pouted. You shook your head and followed them. The staff asked,"Who is the bride?"

"She is the bride", Namjoon pointed at you. "Let's have a look. Please come with us", she led the way. While displaying a few dresses, she was explaining the pattern and design. Mimi was keenly listening.

"Uhm... may I look around?" you asked her. "Sure", she said. "No! Don't let her do that", Mimi said. "Why?" Namjoon asked. "She will never look and feel the outfits. If she pulls one she will stick to it till the end", she said.

Namjoon just chuckled and looked at you. You were looking through the clothes. "I feel like she never changed, except the glow up", Jimin said. "I thought that she would have changed a lot but looking at her now.

She is just the same girl we used to know", Namjoon said. Mimi was happy to know that you were really on good terms. "Jimin, is there any funny or interesting story about her?" Mimi asked him.

"Y/n?! Uhm... I don't think so. She was a quiet and sweet person", he said. In the meantime, you came with 3 dresses. "Help me to choose one", you said. "Try it out", Mimi said. You came out wearing the first one.

"Wow! You look good y/n", you heard the compliments. You turned your attention towards Namjoon. "It's pretty", he said. You smiled and went back and tried another and finally the third one.

Namjoon's jaws dropped when he saw you in the final dress. The emotions were kicking inside him. Everyone was satisfied with the dress and you felt that's the right one. "What do you think?" Jimin asked you.

"I think it's perfect", you said. "Namjoon?" Mimi questioned him. "It's so beautiful y/n", he said. "You look so beautiful", he thought but couldn't say outside. He chose his suit as well.

"I think you guys should have dinner together and get back home", Mimi suggested. "Yah! What if he is busy?" you asked her. "Even if he is busy, he will clear his schedule and I will take care of that", Jimin giggled.

"Why are you guys trying so hard to put us together?" Namjoon chuckled. You didn't know if he was annoyed or joking. "Shall we go y/n?" he asked you. You nodded. He smiled at you. That's when you were a little assured.

"Have a great time. If you get a chance to have your first kiss with him today", she whispered the last part. "Move aside", you blushed. "These kids", Jimin chuckled once you both left. "I am sorry, you must be busy I guess" you said.

"Y/n, actually I thought of asking you that. But he suggested before that", he said. "Oh!" your cheeks turned light pinkish. He noticed that.

"Cute. Why does she have to be so cute?" he thought. He had a strong urge to hold your hands. "Will it be too much? I guess I should wait", he thought to himself. A cute love was blooming inside both of you.
