meeting the family

when we got there he sat me on the porch and opened the door and stepped in side I didn't make no move meeting my best friends parents and brother and sister and wife who's also my mortal enemy he sighed and pulled me in "come on Koda" "I think I'll just go home " I said trying to twist out of his grip "your gonna have to meet them sooner or later" "layer" I said "I don't think so" he pulled me into the house "jasper whittlock hale Cullen you let me go this instant " he shook his head "guys I've got someone who wants to meet you" the slowly came into the Rosalie and Emmett and Alice esme came from what looked to be the kitchen "hello dear what's your name" "I'm Dakoda Parker Bella's cousin" I said shyly "I'm esme it's so nice to meet you dear well I have to get back to my work" I nodded as she walked out of the room "jazzy Alice"squealed as she finally got to the bottom of the stairs jasper looked at me apologetically I shrugged as she took his face in her hands and kissed him passionately my heart broke knowing he loved her as long as he's happy I chanted in my head he pushed her back and have her a look that said later witch broke my heart even more but I put on a happy face all the sudden I was in the air being spun I started shaking thinking that I was being attacked "Emmett put her down" I heard jasper shriek knowing noting the panic and defensive emotions and my obvious shaking "why I'm not hurting her" he defended himself "no your not but she's going to hurt you" I was struggling I heard his booming laughter "just tell them jazz" I got out through clench teeth "she's a shapeshifter not like the ones across the border but one that can shift into any animal she likes along with her sister's " he said Emmett dropped me and I landed on my feet and scrambled across the room to jaspers side shaking harder than I should be he put his hands on my shoulders and turned to face me "calm down Koda" I was calming until he was pulled away from me that spiked my anger "jazz she will hurt you why did you bring a stupid shifter here in the first place" I felt a tear run down my cheek at her comment not at her calling me stupid but at the thought somebody actually thought I could hurt him "she's not stupid Alice and would never hurt me it would kill her to do so" jasper defended me I let out a sob and ran out phaseing into a cheetah on my way I heard jasper say something I couldn't catch and I ran and ran phasing into different animals to match the terrain I ran and ran I just couldn't stop the pain from somebody any body thinking I would hurt my imprint tears rolling down my cheeks and different animal furs I finally stopped I had no idea where I was I could still hear jasper behind me I just laid down under a tree and went to sleep I woke up bye a cold hand on my shoulder I looked up knowing it was jasper

I just put my head back down on my paws "Dakoda Parker don't ever do that to me again" another tear run down my cheek "you realize you ran all the way to Texas Houston I think" another tear went down my cheek "come on Koda stop crying it doesn't matter if they like you all that matters is that I like you" he laid down and put his head on my stomach "we need to get you some clothes the twins are probably worried"that spiked my interest but I didn't move he sighed "okay I'm tired of you not being able to answer me tap your paw once for yes a twice for no okay" I tapped my paw once "what made you run out she called you stupid" I tapped my paw twice " okay so" his face softened "it was the comment about you hurting me wasn't it" I tapped my paw once " I broke up with her you know right after you jumped out the door and phased I didn't like her calling you stupid" I looked up at him and cocked my head to the side "I'm gonna call in a favor I can't go out in this wether to the store but they can bring me some of her clothes" he pulled out his phone and dialed a number" hello"the voice of the one and only Peter whittlock answered "hey Pete can you bring some of Chars clothes to the forest and try to find my sent and follow it I'm under a tree" "yea major you call me cryptic ha I'll be there in twenty minutes major with the clothes" "thanks Pete" he hung up jasper out the phone in his pocket and laid down on my furry belly I could my eyes purring slightly and feel asleep I woke up to being shook I looked up huffing I met bright red eyes I jumped back then I seen it was Peter I swatted at him with my paw he handed me some clothes I took them gently between my teeth and went behind a tree and phased and put on what looked to be a pair of jeans and black plaid shirt and boots were sitting behind the tree and I put on the socks and the boots I walked out and he handed me one of my cowgirl hats I left there it was black I quickly braided my hair and put the hat on I was pulled into a hug by Peter "Koda bear of how I have missed you" he told me I rolled my eyes "I missed you to Peter how's Charlotte" "she's doing great" "great wait where's jasper" I asked "he went to hunt he has always loved Texas animals" I nodded "where's your siblings" he asked Me "at home with there their imprints I was meeting jaspers family and Emmett grabbed me and me being all defensive thought he was attacking me so I started shaking and when jasper told him to put me down he did but I couldn't stop shaking so he knowing he could calm me he put his hands on both my shoulders and looked into my eyes and told me to calm down and I didn't starting when he was pulled away when I looked up I saw the pixie checking him over for scratches she said and I quote "jazz she will hurt you why did you bring a stupid shifter here in the first place" then I ran out crying not because she called me stupid but because she said I would hurt my imprint it would physically kill me to hurt my imprint" I broke down in a fit of sobs Peter came and pulled me into him arms rubbing soothing circles on my back he was whispering soothing things in my ear but I wanted jasper I slowly stopped crying "thanks Peter in sorry for the crying fit" he shrugged it away and pulled away "can I borrow your phone Pete" I asked softly "course muffin top" he said and pulled it out and handed it to me I dialed the house it rang once when uncle Charlie's panic voice answered "hello Koda is that you are you okay where are you the twins are freaking you sister's are freaking I'm freaking" "yes uncle Charlie is me I'm in Texas I'm fine I had a run in with the pixie while I was walking jasper home and she accused me of hurting him I jumped out the door and didn't stop running till few hours ago and jasper had one of our mutual friends bring be some clothes I'm sorry I couldn't have called and I was too heart broken to go home I still can't believe I ran all the way to Texas Houston Texas to be exact I'll be home as soon as I possible in so so so so so sorry for worrying you guys tell my sister's and the twins I'll be home soon and make sure they go to school and don't cause be reckless I love you uncle Charlie I'll be home soon " I hung up and handed the phone back to Peter "I'm gonna sleep show while he's gone you can go back to Charlotte or stay I really don't care but I have a long run ahead of me" he nodded I laid back against a tree and feel asleep
