The bright sky outside your window turns into a deep blue color.
Loads of owls fly by your house but one drops a letter.

You run eagerly downstairs to look at the letter. Never had an animal sent you mail, and owls were rare to find around your neighborhood. Excited, you tear the golden shimmering envelope carefully. Inside was yellow parchment that wrote in black ink:

"Dear l/n, we are pleased to inform you that you have an accepted at Hogwarts.."

"Mom, did you apply me for a middle school already?? I'm thankful but I really wanted to choose!" You said, then continued to read.

"School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.."

"Mom don't tell me you signed me up for a middle school for children who wear pink fluffy dresses and pretend to know magic! Or if this is a joke, it's not very funny!" You screamed, trying to still sound polite (cause it's your mom, duh).

Your mom comes rushing downstairs and looks at the parchment paper.

"I haven't told you this before, but it's time I tell you, you're a witch. I quit the magic life due to the dangers, I wanted to keep you safe, but you need to know the truth. If you want to learn and do magic, I'm ok with that, but please be careful if you want to take this path in life. Your father is always at work because he is part of the Ministry of Magic."

You stared at her dumbfounded. It took a moment for everything to process.

"This doesn't make sense, wait no it does. I want to do magic, but how is it dangerous?"
"There are people who use their magic for the worse, dark wizards or witches".
"But..."

After a while you agreed to go to Hogwarts. There would be feasts with endless food. By teleporting you didn't have to move any more!

The next day you and your mom went and bought you your unusual school supplies. Such as a fluffy owl that spoke in a high pitched "hooot!" You thought it was cute though. Your mom give you an allowance in wizard money. You were all set to go to the train to Hogwarts.
