"Are you SURE you have to go?" Ali pleaded over the phone. "Yes," I answered. "SHELBY!!!!! What about Alec!? You're going to break his heart!!!"(Alec is my boyfriend) "I don't know Ali, I don't know." I said softly.
"Mom. Why are we going to California again?" I asked. "Shelby," my mom sighed "We have to move because of your father and my job." "Well why can't I stay with Ali?" I felt my temper rising. "Calm down, honey. This isn't the end of the world. I'm sure in Cali there will be another Ali." Mom said. "ANOTHER ALI????!?!?!? MOM?! NO ONE CAN REPLACE ALI!!!!!!" I was horrified and and fuming. "Shelby?! Where are you going?" She yelled after me as I stormed up the stairs to my room.
