Suprise Visit

Allies POV

I got a text from Shelby and saw she was waiting outside. I grabbed my jacket and texted my mom telling her I was with Shelby. I walked out the door and hopped into the passenger seat. "What's up?" I asked "I need to show you something" Shelby sighed. "Ok, anything" I answered. She reached out and grabbed an object from her bag and handed it to me. "What's this?" I asked. The keys turned and she pulled out of the driveway not answering. I decided to let it be. A little while later she drove into Brady's house. I was confused but remained silent. She killed the engine, got out, knocked on the door, talked briefly to Brady's little sister, walked inside, closed the door, was in there for about 5 minutes, came out with Brady and climbed into the car. And Brady looked confused. "I need you guys to spend the night" she said softly. It was soft but demanding, no doubt, Shelby Yourden was serious and not herself. Me and Brady just stared at each other and shrugged. We drove in silence for about an hour or so, and I couldn't take the suspense anymore. "Where are we going Shelby" "Shelby." Brady asked from the back seat. Nothing she just kept her eyes on the road, and turned on the radio. Another 5 minutes passed and I yelled "SHELBY YOURDEN WHERE THE HELL ARE WE GOING???!!??!?!?!?!?!?!?" Her eyes were tearing up and she turned up the radio. I slammed the power button on radio. She looked genuinely hurt by that. I almost felt bad. "You just can't take people Shelby," I started. "IM GOING TO MY CRYING PLACE!!! THERE I TOLD YOU!!! ARE YOU HAPPY NOW??!?!?!?'' she screamed, louder than me, so loud that both Brady and I winced. "What's that?" Brady asked. Again Shelby was quiet. "Just WAIT" she said harshly. This was odd because normally Shelby's really nice and funny and everything but sad and mad. I guess all she did was hide all of her feelings. "Get out" she grumbled. "Huh?" I said, confused. "I said. Get. Out. I need to show you guys something." "Whoa" Brady whispered. "Yea" I agreed. I was still holding the object that she gave me when I got in the car. "Here" I showed her the object and she started pouring down tears. "C'mon" she blubbered. Brady stared at the sight. There was a ginormous fountain light up and a small set of circular bleachers placed around it. Shelby was sitting a ways away. I had no idea how she got there so quick but Brady and I ran over to her and she was balling her eyes out over the fountain. The Fountain Of Tears. Shelby saw us and wiped away her sadness and said "let's go" "not until you tell us what's going on" Brady demanded.
